Central location, easiness of check in late at night and cleanliness. The communication was excellent and smooth, owner responded promptly via WhatsApp and the receptionist very helpful giving us tips where to go and eat and what to visit. Really nice people!

Nothing. Everything was great!

Giovanni and Valeria went out of their way to ensure that our arrival (on a Sunday when no one us usually at the desk) and departure (very early in the morning) went exceedingly smoothy. They provided very clear video and instructions for getting into the building that demonstrated their great care for their guests. They also arranged for an early morning taxi. Excellent communicators! Very warm and welcoming. Terrific location in central Catania. Excellent value. Recommend very highly.

Palazzo Sisto is very central, quiet and particurlarly clean. Close to many turistic places and bus stop. Giovanni is a very helpful host, and friendly. Overall the staff was great...I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Catania

Cleaners moved our personal belongings each day it was annoying never in 15 years using booking.com have we ever encountered that.On our second last day we hung towels up in the bathroom and the following morning we found them on the floor with the towel holder. We forgot to tell reception on our way out that morning and we were contacted through WhatsApp with a photograph of the wall were the hook had falling of ( it was only glued on not screwed into the wall) we were accused of applying pressure and that part of the wall was missing. Absolute nonsense from the reception, I immediately rang however she would not answer finally when she did ring me back , she wanted an explanation of how it happened even after me telling her we found it on the floor that morning. Imagine on your holiday trying to relax and the reception and owner harassing you over a stuck on towel holder that fell off.I told her I wasn't explaining anything to her and hung up.We then got a message from both her and the owner to say they will solve the problem and it wasn't mentioned again absolutely terrible to treat guests that way. So that's why I advised you to take photographs. I would be careful if booking this beautiful place for that reason. However Valerie did treat us with respect next time we conversed with her.

It is central, beautiful old building, we were able to check in on line and we were welcomed by Valerie who carried our cases up a very narrow flight of stairs.The room was spotless no windows just 2 roof windows which can be controlled by pressing buttons from the bed.You definitely could not stay in that room without air-conditioning.There was a mini fridge with very reasonable priced drinks.My advice is take photographs of the room when you arrive. We were allowed leave our luggage in the building on our last day for a few hours which was great and Valarie gave us a code to retrieve our luggage later and booked us a taxi which was very obligingly of her and we were great full to her for this.Also we had fresh towels each day and rooms were cleaned each day, never had this before in a b&b.

No views, in an old building which the surrounding outside area appeared dirty on inspection but the apartment is new, clean comfortable and shouldn’t deter any body in staying here for just a short time.

Giovanni and Valeria were incredibly helpful and very friendly. They gave good recommendations and assisted with booking tours and transport. The hotel was central and close to lots of great places to visit and eat. The hotel was very clean and a nice breakfast was available each morning. I had the best time staying at Palazzo Sisto and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Catania!

The cleanest rooms we stayed in! Very central location on the Main street going to the cathedral and super helpful staff. About 12 min walk to the bus stop that takes you to the airport or Catania beach. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Catania.

Great location - short walk from many of the main sights and great restaurants. Was very clean and comfortable bed. Owner was very helpful with places to eat. I appreciate hotel that has a single room available for solo travellers at a reduced room rate.

Super friendly and polite personnel and owner! That send me locations to discover and helped me where ever they could. Its central in the old town, but interior was modern and very important for me as a woman: Safe. Its called Palazzo and it kinda is a Palazzo. The perfect base to come in and out, day and night and where you know, that you are safe in comfortable room with own bathroom. The welcome was amazing and sicilian chocolate a specialty 💚

We loved everything about this property.

The hotel was centrally located and within walking distance to all major attractions, churches and restaurants. The room was extremely comfortable and extremely clean. The proprietor and staff were wonderful and booked memorable trip to Mt Etna for us. They were very helpful answering our questions and offering recommendations. Hotel is very secure and safe.
