You can hear the neighbors. Our neighbors unfortunately were louder than average, but they were calmed down by the hotel stuff, so after the midnight it was calm again.

Great hotel overlooking the bay! We had a room with balcony. They serve breakfast in room. Excellent restaurant is just across the street. The host was very friendly. The beach towels are available for going to the beach.

I love Positano but it was certainly busier this year. Also the loud music from a nightclub across the bay, though not every night, was quite intrusive.... we prefer sitting on the balcony during the evening and enjoying the sound of the sea! However, it did not spoil our overall experience.

A return after 10 years with my husband. Not disappointed! This is a lovely family run hotel which sits in a prime position with stunning views of Positano and the sea from the balcony. Continental breakfast, with a good range of choices, delivered to your balcony. The family who run this hotel and their staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Booked Palazzo Talamo last minute and was so pleasantly surprised with the water view room I received. The view is absolutely magical. The staff was attentive and helpful. I arrived right before the cut off for porter services. The owner of the hotel called them and scheduled my luggage to be picked up right when I got off of the ferry. Very pleased with my stay!

It’s important to know that to get to the property requires climbing up steep stairs for about 10 minutes. Just a warning for those who didn’t know.

The beds were not very comfortable but it still worked.

The location was amazing! Wherever you are in Positano you will have to climb stairs regardless, but Palazzo Talamo was in a great location. Breakfast sent to our room to eat on the cute balcony was an even greater experience. There was nothing better than having free breakfast brought out to enjoy with an even more amazing view. The cleanliness of the room was spot on and the tiles in the bathroom were so beautiful. Overall, extremely happy with our stay and would absolutely come back.

We had a tour that had an 8:30 check in one morning so selected the 8-8:30 breakfast slot and we requested that we get breakfast delivered at 8 because we had to leave. At 8:25 breakfast still had not been delivered and we had to run down to the beach to check in.

The balcony was amazing and we loved having our own space we could sit outside and enjoy the views. It was nice having the side door that led right to the stairs down to the beach.
