Pantheon Inn - Amazing location to explore Rome by foot

The facilities and service is fairly basic for the price. No thrills but all do the job... you are mainly paying for the fantastic location.

Amazing location - we chose the Pantheon Inn as one of us had recently injured our leg and so wanted a central location so we could still walk to all the main attractions of Rome. Roof terrace and decor - Stunning roof terrace which is the perfect place to take a drink and snack after a day of exploring. We liked the classic and traditional Roman feel to the hotel and our room.

Very dark, the pictures were not representative of the accommodation. We stayed in one of the more expensive rooms and were under the impression we would have a private balcony which we didn’t. Booked a double which was 2 singles pushed together and ended with one of us sleeping in the hole most nights. The mini bar wasn’t topped up (not the end of the world) but also covered in black mold at the back. Breakfast was ok, however arrive early as they don’t top it up. One day we were unable to have bread as arrived at 9.45am when breakfast finished at 10.30.

Location was excellent! The shared roof terrace was great for a bottle of wine. Reception welcome was excellent. Provided with extensive map and directions. Helped with bags as someone had jammed the lift.

The breakfasts were excellent and set us up for the day. The hotel is easy walking distance to all the major tourist attractions, but situated on a quiet square away from the main tourist traffic.o The reception staff were exceptionally helpful when we had problems and had to stay an extra couple of days. Cannot thank them enough for their concern and help.

The property was a little hard to find. Look for a double green nondescript green door with a small brass sign that says Pantheon Inn. The double room is a little small. I wouldn’t plan to spend a lot of time in there. The shower is also small and in the corner of the bathroom and requires a step up to get in.

Excellent location. It is walkable to almost everywhere. We walked to the coliseum and the Vatican. Dining and shopping are just minutes away. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooftop terrace is a great place to sit and enjoy a drink. They will even bring a beer or wine up to you.

Our room was a bit dated and needs some work. The bathroom was very small and challenging to use. Value was a bit low, but we enjoyed the stay

Great location for touring Rome very centrally located and easy to navigate to sites. Nice breakfast room and offerings.

There are quite a few stairs at this hotel. They did have a working elevator, but you still need to take some stairs to get to the elevator as well as to the breakfast area.

The location of this hotel was great. Just around the corner from the Pantheon and a few minutes' walk from Trevi fountain. Most evenings we would walk to one of those two places and grab gelato on the way. There were also a few souvenir shops nearby. The entrance to the hotel was on a quiet road, so there was not a lot of load noise from outside.

The toilet broke twice - it wouldn’t flush. A temporary repair was done quickly but a part had to be procured before it could be fixed properly. There was no sound on the television.

Hotel with lots of charm, a stone's throw from all attractions. PERFECT LOCATION! (French couple)

The breakfast: the lady is very welcome and nice. But the food is not so attractive: sausages and cheese sweat. They should invest a little bit on the presentation. Everything is put "in bulk", mixed. Not really appetizing. Next time, we will take the breakfast outside. But once again, people and especially the lady at the breakfast are very nice.

Location is perfect! 2 minutes by walk to Pantheon, 10 to 30 minytes maximum to main sites of Roma. Nice people. The hotel has a lot of charm, crazy lift. Room are large. A little bit dated but clean.

The sofa bed was not very comfortable. The buzzer on the front door was very loud and was buzzed repeatedly in the mornings (presumably as staff entered the building) so woke us up. Tip - the breakfast is delicious and the lady that runs breakfast is very kind and helpful, the room is very cramped though so one morning we nearly couldn’t get a table - suggest you go down early or late to avoid the crowds.

Excellent location near the Pantheon. Hidden behind an unassuming door. Very clean and a big family room (2 rooms joined together plus an en-suite).

The beds weren’t the most comfy (very bouncy) and we had a problem with the toilet but the staff did their best and got it sorted however it was a little frustrating. No milk in room for tea/coffee and room is small.

The location is fantastic, it’s a really quirky little old place that we really felt very Roman in. The light breakfast was nice and surprising selection given the size of the tiny kitchen.

    Nothing.

Location of the Pantheon Inn was excellent for sight seeing including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, The Vatican, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain , The Pantheon (2 or 3 minutes walk), Piazza Navona and no doubt other sights. Across the road from the hotel, the Basilica di Santa Maria Sopra Minerva is well worth a visit. The staff were very friendly and informative. Good choice for breakfast to set you up for the day. The room was traditional, functional and clean

Our room was a little disappointing as I had asked for a room with a view if possible due to this being our wedding anniversary. We were in a small room under the stairs to the rooftop terrace so we heard everyone going up and down the wooden stairs, and our view was of other rooftops. Luckily it was cold so not so many people were going to the rooftop. The bed had no blanket on the bed, we found one in the cupboard that was possibly a double for a queen sized bed. It wasn’t big enough to tuck into the bottom of the bed. Luckily it was warm enough in the room.

The position was perfect! Easy walking distance to most of the highlights of Rome. About 1minute to the Pantheon, restaurants, shops and everything! The hotel was charming with a very cute and welcome lift. Breakfast was delicious with a big variety. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The beds weren't the most comfortable, and we did see two big bugs in our room (not the end of the world, but also not what you want to see in your room).

The Pantheon Inn is located perfectly - you are within walking distance of the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Jewish Ghetto, Campo di Fiori, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and more. The complimentary breakfast was a great convenience and a good value. The property itself was beautiful. Our room was spacious and had a wonderful window with a nice view.
