Rooms are as shown in the pictures, very clean and well equipped. Gloria and the rest of the staff are quite friendly, helpful and always have a smile on their face. Located inside an apartment complex makes it very quite and peaceful. The neighborhood is a residential one with access to bus stops and great restaurants(Nakai is a good option). Would definitely recommend this hotel to all kinds of travellers.

Hotel Paolo II made our first trip to Rome a seamless, stree-free, and enjoyable experience. They have VERY clean rooms, a delicious breakfast every morning, and the location is perfect. A short walk to St. Peter's Basilica, and tons of small restaurants to get a drink at on the way back. The hotel is also located in the center courtyard of a beautiful old hotel building. We spent many nights sitting out in front of the hotel talking and drinking, it was so quiet and peaceful. The staff was also amazing, with someone being at the front desk 24/7. We always felt safe, respected, and valued as patrons here. Highly highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in a safe, quiet part of Rome that is still close to everything you'll want to do!

Really nothing it was perfect!

At first we weren’t sure if we chose the correct property for our needs, but after we took a short walk we realized it was going to be perfect for us! The location was with in walking distance to many attractions or just a short taxi ride away.

Not much natural light as it is a one-floor building within an apartment's courtyard but other than that the location is very quaint and secure.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating especially with late check-out! Very good location for the Vatican City which was our main trip purpose.

Everything was perfect!!

It was our Honey Moon, everything was amazing, the room was extra very clean, the staff is too kind and they speak Italian, English and Spanish, so don't worry about the language. We had a big surprise from the staff due our honey moon. You will see in the photos. Location is beyond great, easy access to train stops and bus stops, walk time to Vatican City, 10 min to Trevi Fountain and Collosseo by bus.

Excellent location close to tour sites, taxi stand around the corner, and restaurants around the corner. We’ve had the best lasagna at La Vattoria restaurant. Valentino and his staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious with croissants, ham, salami, and cheese. Room was the most spacious we’ve seen. Love the omnipresence with the plants in the room

A very clean and nice room with good Aircondition. Good bathroom and nice shower. Staff super friendly! They give you earplugs for sleep, because the rooms aren’t really soundproof. Good coffee in the morning. Breakfast was fine. Easy to walk to everything, but it’s close to the trainstation if not.

Great to be in the quieter side of Rome. Quiet and safe, away from the noise outside. Rooms clean and tidy. Valentino and cleaning were excellent. 24-hour reception and allowed us to access room early after our 24-hour flight. Close to Vantican city, and easy access to bus/train

The location was a bit tricky (surrounded by other properties including a private residential block located within the gated space) and it felt awkward.

The room was nice and comfortable, air conditioning was super efficient and the bathroom facilities and toiletries were excellent and even eco-friendly. The wifi was also super fast.
