Absolutely amazing view, delicious breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Free shuttle service is also available to the nearest city and other places. The restaurant was also great for dinner, better than expected!

The most awesome thing is that the premises have a spectacular view from the bar/restaurant terrace, surrounded with numerous cacti, flowers, herbs ... They offer a very tasty breakfast with a ton of options (especially tasty were the ricotta and fresh cherry tomatoes), the dinner was also fantastic and they also offer a wonderful selection of beverages. Staff was very friendly, super helpful and always had an answer when we needed help or advice. Free shuttle service option is very welcome (since the hotel is pretty high up the hill) an seeing the drivers manage narrow winding roads of Casamicciola you are very quickly very happy you didn't rent a car. :) Rooms are simple but nice and clean and our balcony had a wonderful sea view.

One of our favourite hotels we’ve stayed at, this was our second time coming back. Rooms are basic, but everything else - views, food, staff, plant decoration etc are just amazing. Good location, walkable downhill to Casamiccola and Lacco Ameno villages on the shore, both bigger towns Ischia and Forio are just a short ride away.

The bed and pillows were all soooo hard and the bedding was lacking. The mattress felt really old- every time my partner moved it was very bouncy. It was so hard I had to keep turning to the other side because my hips and shoulders would ache. Only a sheet and a heavier winter blanket was provided. Something in between would have been much more appropriate! We unfortunately didn’t sleep well any of the nights :(

Everything! Especially the breakfast, the views, the plants and the whole hotel in general was really beautiful.

not really negative, since we had a lot of fun driving with a scooter, but... since it's further up the hill and not that central, you'll probably want to rent one to get around. there are also busses, but scooter is the way to go :) luckily the staff can help with that and offers a full-service, thanks so much!

we enjoyed our time a lot! the breakfast is really good, a lot of variety and combined with the view it's just perfect to get started into the day. the staff is lovely, we felt like they are a small family, the owner is also really nice and helpful :) can highly recommend to spend a few nights there, we'll for sure be back some time!

The view from my room was of a tree and a wall. The bathroom left a little to be desired and the food was rather expensive.

We has a great time but if there was one thing I had to comment. The bathroom in our room could do with a little refresh, it looked a bit old with some cracked tiles ect.

The view was incredible, from both our room and the rooftop and restaurant. We loved the aperitivo rooftop for sunset it has great music, atmosphere and drinks. The restaurant was also very nice for both lunch and breakfast.

Restaurant is nice, but a little overpriced - but so is everything on the island, it is VERY touristic ;-) (we arrived from naples where everything is a bit more authentic and more easy accessable and cheaper, so therefore it was kind of a unpleasant surprise for us, but still fine ;-))

A lovely family-hosted small hotel on top of the mountain in between the two villages "Lacco ameno" and "Casamicciola Terme". According to the location, see below. Hotel has got a FANTASTIC view on to the sea, the harbour and surroundings of the island. Breakfast is phenomenal. Staff is super friendly. Rooms are a bit small even tho we booked a deluxe room and kind of a bit dark since there is only the entrance (balcony doors) having the sunlight come in and no more windows. But - why would you stay in your room anyway at such a beautiful location? Rooms booked with sea view and balcony are just WOW - you gotta sit very private and enjoy your balcony view. Rooms are fairly acceptable equipped, nothing to special, bed is ok-comfy, everything is clean. Nice pool area. Location: As already mentioned, hotel is on the top of a small mountain, reachable by car, vespa, local bus (strange timetable tho). There is a free shuttle service from the Hotel running several times daily either to the one or the other village for taking you down and if agreed, also back upon availability and in a specific time range. We once walked the distance up & down the hill, takes you at least 20-30 min. There is no supermarket or anything nearby the hotel - everything is located down in the village.

We loved the pool so much and wish it stayed open past 7pm! It was always clean and lovely to swim in and read beside. The restaurant was a little pricey for us to do dinner there every night but we certainly enjoyed our meals there when we had them!

So grateful we found this gem!! Paradise Realis was our first stop of a three-week Italy trip and they set the bar high in so many ways! The staff, first and foremost, are so kind and were always willing to help with all of our questions. Our Italian was lacking but Google Translate came in handy!! The view? STUNNING. We loved relaxing by the pool and having candlelit dinners on the terrace. The dinners we had were especially good although not necessarily cheap depending on what you order. The breakfast spread was truly delicious (savory & sweet) with a self-serve espresso machine. Everything tasted garden-fresh and had a very natural and organic feel. We met several other young travelers and also saw some families at the hotel as well as older travelers. The location is up a hill, however, they offer a free shuttle every day with various drop-off and pick-up times and that worked perfectly for us. Our last night we grabbed $3.50 sandwiches from the Minimart down in the piazza by the port. There was a fridge in our room and this made for a perfect dinner back on our private patio along with a glass of tasty wine from the hotel bar. Although it’s a bit removed from town, I felt like that added a layer of peace and tranquility vs being in the hustle and bustle of the beach crowd. For activities, we took the shuttle to Negombo one day which was barely a 5-minute walk from the drop off point. We also hiked Mt Empomeo and ate at the restaurant at the summit! If you choose to do the same, do be sure to get very clear directions on how to take the public bus there — we went the wrong way and this was a little chaotic to navigate 😅 overall, we would absolutely stay here again!!! Going to the city! The hotel is up in the mountains so make sure they pick you up as they have a shuttle at specific times daily. Once you learn the schedule it would be ok but still a hassle! The breakfast was ok as the Italian breakfast is the only thing I don’t like a lot in Italy! Basically carbs and sweets. There are some eggs and one kind of salami the rest is cake. I think they can improve that part by adding more kinds of cheese, olives and sausages.

The view is amazing! The swimming pool. The staff are very nice and helpful especially Francisca <3 Rooms are big and clean. Because of the nice location, it’s so calm.

The hotel was amazing for many reasons. The staff so helpful and friendly; the location afforded such beautiful views in the restaurant for breakfast - which had an excellent range of food from bacon and eggs to cakes and pastries, cereals etc; the rooftop bar was very chilled - excellent music and again ghe views. It reminded me of being in Bali or Thailand. The swimming pool was also very chilled. This hotel is suitable for couples and families- something rare to find.

Amazing views. Everywhere you look you want to take a photo. The location is perched in the perfect spot to overlook the ischia port. The pool is lovely. There is a rooftop bar. The central dining has amazing views. The whole place is well run with amazing food and attentive staff. There are lots of old objects with character. The hotel is a art piece and a labor of love. The owner, Antonio is up late if you happen to be up at 2pm. He is up at 5:30am waiting to greet you for a espresso…. He is a kind and friendly soul. The place is a dream. Filled with jazz during the day and eclectic tropical classics at night.

The double bed was two singles pushed together! But other than that everything was perfect and I would 100000% stay there again

The owner and staff are very friendly. I loved the free shuttle service they had, it was amazing. They also organised the taxi for us on departure (6.30am)
