How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I had the most amazing stay in this family run hotel. The hosts were super lovely and welcoming! I can’t thank them enough for nice recommendations, letting me park the car full day after check-out, for all the smiles and always good mood. I really look forward to come again and bring my son to this wonderful place to show him all the good Siusi has to offer. The location of hotel itself was really close to gondola and it took about 7 minutes to walk there even wearing skiboots. The breakfast was plentiful and I especially enjoyed fresh bakery products. Rooms are very clean and the view to the church and mountain was breathtaking. After long day of skiing I was just sitting on the balcony and listening to church bells.

Great position, walking distance to Siusi and to the cable car which takes you to the ski slopes. The hosts were really welcoming, helpful and nice, they made us feel at home. Wonderful stay.

Loved the breakfast in the morning and how laid back and friendly the owners were. Location can't be beat in terms of closeness to the gondola. We would definitely stay again!

Nothing is was perfect.
The location is in walking distance to go up to Alpe di Susi with the Gondola. Our host husband and wife could not have been any nicer, we just loved them. We were greeted with a smile and even a complimentary drink on arrival.

Clean and spacious room & bathroom. A lot of parking spots. Nice and friendly owner. Many options for breakfast, we also asked if vegan breakfast is possible and the owner kindly provided several vegan options.

Amazing location, room with a breathtaking view, Great breakfast and last but not least the Hotel Owners who were super welcoming, friendly and gave us a lot of useful info. Will come back! I highly recommend this Hotel.

The rooms facing the street can hear the road in front of the Hotel, but windows close out the sound nicely. During our stay there was no traffic during the night.
The staff is great and very welcoming! We loved the modern interpretation of 1920th style of the bar and breakfast room.

Beautiful hotel close to Alpe Di Siusi. The owners are the most friendly and welcoming people I’ve ever met during my years of traveling. They are kind, respectful and extremely generous. I’ll be back here without a doubt next time im in the Dolomites.

The property is a great location! We had views of the mountain behind us, I think the hotel gave us an upgrade (very kind of them!) The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was delicious and the manager was so friendly and helpful.

Request a 1st floor room if it is hard for you to climb stairs. This small property, understandably l, has no elevator.
Clean comfy room with balcony looking out toward beautiful church whose bells don't wake you at night. The owners did all they could to make us feel at home, and run a friendly pub that lots of neighbors enjoy. It's conveniently located near the cable car to Compatsch on Alpe di Siusi. The small village of Siusi is lovely while nearby Kastelruth has all you need, including a selfserve laundromat.

The hostess was extraordinary. Extremely accommodating with a wonderful sense of humor. The property is steps from the cable car up to the Alpe di Siuisi. Great inn; great location. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable.
