How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Everyone staying was Italian. Didn't bother me at all but some people like to be among other Brits I suppose
Near the slopes, friendly staff, good food.

Absolutely old and updated hotel Needs a looot of improvements View from the room nearly not existent Bunk bad too low and claustrophobic for the bottom bed (also moving and not so safe) Apart the lady from the reception, no english Breakfast closed at 9.45 already (10AM should close) Some food was cold for dinner Overall a very old hotel with staff so so...

Shabby rooms. Dated restaurant. Poor quality furnishings. In need of total redecoration.
Very helpful staff, could not do enough. Food was good, bfast excellent. Location good. Comfortable bed. Warm. Quiet.

The toilet was broken, which meant a constant running water sound all night, and it didn't flush properly. The hotel did send maintenance out, but they didn't seem able to fix it. There was also rather a lack of electric plug sockets in the room.
Buffet breakfast was good, nice variety of food. Room was excellently placed for the ski and boot room, just a couple of doors down. Staff were very helpful.

bed could have been comfier and room larger but for price and location it was perfect.
Loved breakfast and most especially the fabulous buffet every evening (not included but an extremely reasonable price!) Also the view outside the boot room was incredible.

The rooms were very basic, the double was a twin pushed together and the beds were quite hard, even in our more comfy second room. The radiator wouldn’t turn off in the bathroom so it was on full blast all the time and boiling but ok if you kept the bathroom door shut! The walls and door were very thin and the door hardly shut so you could hear everything going on especially in the corridors.
it was very close to the piste so could pretty much ski in and out. it had a cosy little bar, good breakfast choice and lovely waiting and reception staff, really kind and professional and they totally made the stay!! they swapped our tiny room at the beginning for something bigger and more comfortable.

More light in the rooms and more sockets. Room 404 had a shower drainage issue and should be addressed.
Breakfast great. You could do with sorting out a deal with the ski hire shop next door.

daily and evening activities set by the staff to keep everyone active and together were a nice addition that made the place feel like a large family :)

dingy, tiny room, cigarette smoke seeping through the door (not sure where from), no stopper on the window to keep it a crack open rather than having it open wide. Being charged for the ski room while not using it. smelly scrambled egg (off) for breakfast.
closeness to skiing. decent-ish dinner for €65 for a family of 3.

The access was something never seen even in a bad movie! The blue door in the middle of the kind o tunnel full of garbage. The manual garage door on the extra charge. never seen something like that. everything as arranged by amateurs who try to manage a hotel. I have traveled al lot… but when I ask a late check out due to my quite serious injury, I’ve been asked 40€ more to the 300€!!!!! for an incredible room with a beam in the middle of the room….which honestly was clean and warm. The noise was coming from anywhere…

The location was the best you could ask for. Being at the mountain and starting your day skiing out of your hotel is the way to go and not have to drive up or take the lift for 30 minutes. The hotel staff was beyond friendly. They all put on little skits and dance for the holidays in the lobby for the guests. I speak very little Italian and the staff speaks English well which helps for someone that is not well versed yet in Italian. All of the guests staying there were very friendly as well. I was traveling alone and they all seemed to reach out and be welcoming also. I will most likely be heading back there in a few weeks if I can book a room.
