The hotel is beautiful, in an old building, and just up the street from the waterfront, so quiet. The view of the lake from our bedroom was a real joy and the hotel staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. We loved every minute.

Wow on location, plus an amazing 15th-century monastery now refurbished. Staff were amazing, meeting us at an underground car park (we paid extra for) nearby and helped us back with our luggage, and was also proud of the building and showed us around with a smile. The door to the lift was even an original. Room was excellent, good air-con (it was a hot day). It has a MASSIVE lounge area which we didn't get to use, but for an evening if with friends is just perfect. But the location meant we could in 30 seconds be on the lake/water front and ate out at one of the many restaurants into the evening. Breakfast at the hotel was really good too. Will want to stay again, could not really fault it.

Loved it all.

The whole stay was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and served in a most amazing dining room. The hotel Pironi must be the best in Cannobio, in fact all of lake Maggiore. We recommend it unreservedly.

Great location - right by the Lake and some great restaurants . Hotel had some lovely touches - local pastries on arrival and turn down . Very personable . Great breakfast and really friendly and helpful team .

The parking was a slight squeeze.

Amazing hotel right in the heart of Cannobio, walking distance to everything! The room we had was amazing, really unique and had a lovely balcony/terrace. We visited as part of our honeymoon and they left us some biscuits as a special treat! The breakfast was also amazing and the communal areas.

Room soundproof was not so good and wc on second floor of the room with very creaky staircase.

Nice historisch building with new stylish decor, comfortable beds and pillows, nice personal , really good breakfast.

Not easy to get to and from the parking with a large car.

Very central location with short walk to the lake front. There is a large room with tea and coffee provided - great to sit with friends.

I can't think of anything, really an amazing hotel.

Amazing location, feels like you are staying in a palazzo but with modern standards. Roomy rooms with a beautiful bedroom. Good beds, airconditioning if necessary, minibar. The breakfast is a must, since you eat in the most beautiful breakfast room with a complete buffet. Also, you have a cozy lounge at your disposal if you want to relax. For a small surplus cost, you can also book a closed garage for your car in a easy to reach location.

Beautiful property, well maintained, decorated and furnished. Very comfortable bed and spacious bedroom with balcony. Good selection of tasty food for breakfast. Staff were very helpful.

Absolutely nothing to complain, just perfect and wonderful!

One of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in - perfect service, location, historic setting, level of renovation and cleanliness etc. - such that we can only give top marks (10) in all categories. We congratulate the hotel - and all its guests! As side note, the hotel even provides free parking nearby (upon due request).

6 steps between the bedroom and bathroom which were quite steep and without a handrail. We would have appreciated a warning about this. Not all people could cope with this.
