The shower door was broken, generally in bad condition, not thoroughly cleaned. The lights in the hallways were dim and green/blue, not hospitable (eeriness as that of a horror movie). We found black hair on our bed sheets, a color which neither of us have. A few towels were stained yellow. The cleaning lady threw away our used soap bars, but forgot to replace them so we were left without. Would have appreciated a fridge and a phone to call up the front desk for questions/needs. *Irrelevant: Would suggest changing bed covers and curtains to a dark green, to match the hotel theme.

The personnel at the front desk was welcoming and accommodating. Top location in terms of accessibility. Overall good hotel for a short stay.

The fridge in our room leaked, so it smelled like Ammonia.

As a young, low-budget traveller, I was good with the accommodation, supposing I only needed a bed. The bed was comfy, working AC. 24/7 reception. The location is absolutely amazing. 1 minute walk to a bus stop, 3 minute walk to the ferry station.

The location is perfect, by the town and lake. Helpful staff, big bedrooms.

The AC did not work which meant the room was very stuffy. We had a lakeside room so there was traffic noise if you had the window open. The receptionist told us that the air conditioning system shut off in the building once the temperature gets below I think 25°. But the room was much warmer, than that so it was quite hard to sleep. I’m not sure if the system was working, that it would be very cold anyway, it seemed very old.  Shower had mould Light fitting above bathroom mirror look like it was about to catch fire

The shower needs a good clean

The hotel is very well located. It is near the ferry terminal and the shore with a little beach. The bed was comfortable. The shower needs a bit of good cleaning. My windows were to the main road, so it was a little loud at night and early in the morning, when the pavement washing started (but my window was fully open).

The Hotel really needs a renovation, especially the rooms. For what you pay, you definitely can expect a different standard. The whole hotel has more a hostel character than a hotel.

Base sheet too small. Requirements to book breakfast is too restrictive. "Fines" for late checkout. No minibar. Fridge past it (working but not cold!) Room electric 'tripped' and took too long for them to sort.

Good location in the town, but wouldn't go back to Desenzano. Friendly staff.

Tired hotel in need of refurbishment.

The location was excellent and the staff welcoming and very helpful. Situated right on the promenade with a view of the lake, it is very close to the beach, numerous restaurants, bars and shopping. Car parking is nearby (within 2 minutes' walk) and reasonably priced. While the hotel misses in a few areas, such as the less than effective air-conditioning (much needed in the 35+ degree heat), the tired decor and the feeling of needing TLC, it is adequate for one or two nights for the price. It didn't detract from us falling in love with Desenzano del Gardo and wanting to visit again, although we might choose somewhere else to stay next time.

Just supply plenty toilet roles had to ask a couple of times The hotel was clean couldn't have been more central right on the ferry port and looking onto the lake it was basic but we knew that and needs a refurb but these hotels have had very hard times over covid The soundproofing was excellent set up a whole market and we didn't hear a thing we used it as a base and got a good deal cut them some slack! Cleaner worked hard room cleaned well every day 24 reception staff were fine

hotel is not modern, old school style. however it was not weak part of the stay

Location is the strongest asset to the hotel, its near to the center, water, bus stop. Room was clean and quiet.

The mattress was pretty old and the room not really clean. You could feel the springs through the mattress. Bathroom looked like someone punched the walld in the shower, since the wallpaper was peeling off. But all that is passable if you know what you paid for.

The location is excellent. Close to the harbor, a supermarket is very close by and small shopping street isn't far either. For the price you really can't say much, the other hotels around are way more expensive.
