We really enjoyed our stay in Fontecastello! We stayed here for 3 nights during our Italy Roadtrip and wish we could go back some day. The staff were all so friendly, everything was super clean, the whole environment was so relaxing. Breakfast was delicious every morning! Everything was so fresh. We also tried the pool even tho the weather was a bit cold and even the pool was so nice. It was also very close to the actual town of Montepulciano. Highly recommend this Hotel for everyone!😊

This is not a criticism. It's an observation. This accommodation may be unsuitable for someone with a disability, particularly if hoping to walk into town as it's situated down a steep hill. Also, some of the apartments and the swimming pool may be less accessible for someone disabled. That said, I am currently using a walking stick whilst waiting for knee surgery and managed the walk into town and could access facilities, albeit slowly

Spacious and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful and peaceful location. Welcoming hostesses and their dogs who were very companionable. Inexpensive and filling breakfast available. Delicious homemade wine 10 min walk to a good supermarket for our supplies and 15 mins walk to the beautiful historic centre with its good range of places to eat.

We loved everything. So relaxing. 10-minute walk up to Montepulciano. Great breakfast, the nicest family running the place. Very nice and super cute kids. There is nothing bad I can say about the property. I wish it would have been warmer weather because the pool looked very inviting. Would definitely stay there again. Their dogs were even great, especially Wilma.

Our recent visit to Podere Fontecastello was nothing short of amazing. Nestled in an ideal location, it allowed us to meander through vineyards and olive groves and effortlessly explore the heart of Montepulciano by foot. The highlight, however, was the exceptional, friendly service we experienced. A heartfelt thanks goes to Antonella for making our stay so remarkable and memorable. The breakfast offerings were a joy to wake up to, featuring an array of fresh, tasty local fare that perfectly set the tone for our stay. Moreover, the locally produced wine and olive oil were exquisite, truly embodying the essence of the region. There was nothing I disliked, however this is an argriturismo not a luxury hotel. It is Tuscany rustic.

Location was just outside the wall in Montepulciano, you would want to drive closer. The scenery was what you dream about Tuscany. Right behind the building we’re vineyards, olive trees and chickens for fresh eggs every breakfast. We had 3 rooms, 2 up with a common area to get together at night and breakfast. I had an apartment on the ground floor which was fabulous. Breakfast was excellent. The staff went all out for us.

The settting was beautiful with olives trees and vineyards. We stayed in a ground unit called apartments, the room looked like Tuscany with exposed beams and brick. Breakfast was very good, with Antonella taking excellent care of all guest. Our friends stayed in the upper rooms and they say the rooms were very happy. This is an Agriturismo, a farmhouse with chickens for fresh eggs. It is located on a dirt road below Montepulciano which was less than a 5 minute drive. Applause to Antonella for making you feel at home

The distance to the center was more than the 10 minute walk expectation.

The apartment was homy and clean. Very comfortable rooms and clean bathroom. The property was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. The pool looked lovely but it was raining.

Difficult to find - drove around in circles for a bit before finally finding the location. It's probably a bit more than 10 minutes uphill to get to centre.

Antoinella (?) was extremely helpful. And breakfast was great sitting out in the patio area with views on Montepulciano. Room met our expectations. Bathroom clean and modern (if a little small).

The most perfect agriturismo stay right near Montepulciano! Plenty of parking (we had a rental car) and easy check-in experience. Letizia was in touch with us 1-2 days before check-in to make sure we had all the necessary information. When we arrived, she gave us a very warm welcome and was so friendly. Our little apartment was in fact very large with an upstairs kitchen/dining/living room area and the bedroom/bathroom downstairs. It was nice to be able to stretch out. We both slept like logs after long days exploring Tuscany. I actually wish we'd had more time to spend at the farm, but just had other adventures planned most of the time we stayed here. I hope we'll be able to return one day!
