The dogs barked a little at night so if you’re a light sleeper I’d recommend bringing ear plugs.

Everything was perfect. The pool, the view, the dogs, the breakfast and dinner service were all amazing. Cristina and Davide were excellent hosts and gave us wonderful recommendations for the rest of our Sicilian trip. Would highly recommend to anyone who is considering staying the area and would love to visit again in the future.

Amazing hospitality from a lovely couple who take great care in running this agritourismo. Delicious breakfasts included, and well worth having dinner as well - we ate here three nights in a row and it was different everytime, with a very carefully selected menu by the chef (who can cater for dietary requirements). The room was spacious with a deck and modern bathroom - great rain shower head! 5 beautiful dogs around who love to be scratched, and a lovely pool with views over the hills. This was an absolutely magical experience.

The breakfast and dinner were spectacular! Definitely have at least one dinner here, Davide is a great chef. The views are great, the area is quiet, and the room was well sized and comfortable. In case you are allergic be aware that there are dogs on the property, but they were super sweet so if you're a fan of dogs its a positive.

The B&B was super comfortable, the hosts served incredible food and drink and were so welcoming. it was lovely to have such a personalised experience and to learn more about Sicily and the food from them. The B&B was designed beautifully and our room was so clean and spacious and modern. There are 5 dogs which have been rescued from the streets which made the place even more special if possible!!

Everything - Poggio del Gallo is set in the most beautiful and peaceful location. Great pool, the room is tastefully decorated, the breakfast is amazing. We also had dinner from Davide both nights we were there.. it was really delicious. best food we’ve had in Sicily. We will definitely return.

Everything! Cristina and Davide are amazing! The bed and breakfast, immersed in the Sicilian countryside is stunning. It has a gorgeous infinity pool that we took advantage of and from which you can enjoy the panorama. The room is very comfortable and stylish. The meals were extraordinary. Davide is a great cook. The breakfasts are great. The lunches and dinners are definitely worth it. Cristina has many ideas about fun things to do in the area. They are lovely and take care of their guests well.

The property is in the countryside, a relaxing agriturisimo experience. The grounds are lovely with olive trees, a vegetable garden and a beautiful swimming infinity pool, The breakfast was delicious and for our evening meal we opted for dinner cooked by David, which was amazing. Christina and David were wonderful hosts, making us feel very welcome. It was a wonderful experience all around.

We couldn't swim in the pool because the yearly cleaning process wasn't finished, but we enjoyed the sunbathing seats and the views a lot

We had absolutely lovely stay in Poggio del Gallo. It was perfect to stay first 3 days in Taormina and move to this calm and peaceful location. Charming yard with olive and fruit trees in beautiful Sicilian farmside. On day time we visited towns and wine yard nearby and just hung out at the pool. And of course cuddled all the lovely dogs (Cleo 💕). Evening dinners with Davide and Cristina topped up our days, so delicious wines and food and nice conversations. One day we took a cooking class with the chef Davide and got a lot of cooking inspiration to take home with us. Room was comfy, clean and spacious.

All was perfect

Poggio del Gallo is a place we will cherish in our memories. We enjoyed everything: from the wonderful location and our cozy room to fantastic breakfasts (oh yes, we are still missing that mouthwatering burrata, buns, and Cristine's homemade jams). We spent 4 nights there, traveling around during the day and coming back for the unforgettable dinners that Davide made. We were so impressed with his talent, we booked a cooking class with him to learn how to make homemade pasta and that was one of the nicest memories of our vacation. Davide and Cristine are wonderful hosts and made our stay unofrgettable. And their super friendly and sweet dogs Lupa, Cleo, Sisto added a special charm to the place. We truly enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to anyone who is traveling in Sicily.

It would have been nice to have a few clean towels every other day. The owners did not come into our room during the whole stay.

The pool side is amazing and the room is beautiful. When we asked for some snacks and wine, we got a very tasteful plate of snacks. The wine tasted good as well. The owners are very kind and we had a lovely dinner. We even bought some olive oil to take home!

We are honoured to be hosted by Davide and Cristina. They are very very attentive, super caring and warm hosts. Their accommodation provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the peace and calmness. The outdoor area offers a beautiful view and the pool is always very clean and is just luxurious. The interior is modern, well equipped and offers plenty of space. The photos do not do justice to reality. Now to the best part: The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. They use mainly regional products or even fruit and vegetables from their own cultivation. We enjoyed Davide's cooking every day. Every evening we enjoyed a typical Italian dinner of the best quality. Davide catered to our wishes and served us only the best. We also took a pasta cooking course with Davide and take home his tips and recipe. Cristina was always caring for us and helped us with every queries (especially with COVID rapid test, sights of Sicily, sunshades and towels for the beach and more and more). We already miss the great conversations and fun evenings with Cristina, Davide, their lovely dogs and the other guests who were there at the same time. We would highly recommend the accommodation of Cristina and Davide for all who want to get away from the hectic everyday life and who want to enjoy nature and calmness in combination with good food and attentive hosts. Cristina and Davide help with every request and whether it's a hike, a massage or a cooking class - they help you to organise your holiday according to your own taste.
