The manager was very responsive to our situation and was kind enough to arrange a room change so we could remain in Florence for a day longer. We really appreciated his assistance. Great location for touring Florence.

- the ventilation in the room. The air felt very humid and mouldy inside and opening the window didn't help as the streets were quite loud and busy all night long 😅 But I do understand - we've stayed in an old building in the old town.

- the staff was super hospitable! 💚 - the location was the best! - the bed was comfy and the room tidy, the cot was provided too, with no extra hidden costs like we've experienced in some other places in Italy sadly.

A fabulous place. The hosts were lovely and very flexible, the room was great, and the whole experience with them was terrific. There's no breakfast, but that's fine: the neighborhood is full of great locations to get something to eat.

The beds aren't the comfiest, but they're not bad enough to ruin the stay! Because you're in a central location, you can hear noise from the streets if the window is open (we sleep with a white noise machine, so it didn't bother us). The room is also small, but it was perfect for the two of us (just be aware!).

The location is perfect! Right by the leather market and within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. You can hear the street performers playing music right from your window - it was lovely! The staff was very friendly and helpful - they kept our room clean with fresh towels. For the value, I would definitely stay here again.

The building was hard to find because of the scaffolding around it so I’d suggest including instructions in a message to the guest to let them know where the entrance is.

Spacious room with single bed and some amenities including wash basin. Shared bathroom was clean and quite big. Great proximity to many Florentine attractions and restaurants as well as the tram and train stations. Staff were nice and super friendly.

Excellent location, very good value, comfortable bed and lovely, accommodating staff. Was able to check in early and leave my luggage there for some hours after check-out. Highly recommended!

European hotels are different than hotels in the USA. Usually they are comparatively smaller. This hotel did a great job leveraging all space possible for my needs.

Great location, very clean room, and great service. I elected to share a bathroom and enjoyed having a sink to myself inside my own room. The bathroom was always available and clean whenever I needed it. Even though the room is small, they have lots of storage space for your toiletries & a small wardrobe. There is also a small shared fridge that is very convenient to store a few items in. Enjoyed using the elevator as well.

Everything was perfect. Great location. It is three floors high but there is an elevator. No issues at all.

Make sure to close both doors everytime you use the elevator, otherwise it won't work -- and people from other floors won't be able to hail the lift.

We had an excellent stay: the hotel is location in a charming alley right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle but the double glazing filters out the outside noise so it's nice and quiet. We had a small daytime nap with the window open and were gently awoken by what sounded like an opera singer :-) The hotel staff is very nice as well!

Twin bed breaking apart in single one's too easy. We had to fix it before sleeping every night. That might be because our 2 years old was hanging out at bed always when we are in room.

Location was beyond perfect. It was literally at city's heart.

The hotel has the best location if your priority is to be able to walk everywhere. It’s 15 min to train station and 2 min to Ponte Vecchio, it’s literally in the center of all the attractions. The room, sheets and towels were so clean, honestly I was worried about the shared bathroom but it was more clean and bigger than any hotel I’ve ever stayed in Italy so far. As a solo female traveller the area was safe, the price was so affordable and the owner was really polite and caring about the guests. I stayed in a single room and it was actually wide, don’t mind the comments about small rooms, it’s all same in Italy and France, just book the hotel :)
