How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I think the living room lighting condition can be improved. Right now there are only two very dimmed yellow ceiling lights. We also had a bit problem with the parking. Whilst having the parking reserved with the property owner in advance, when we arrived at the designated parking garage, the staff at the garage was immediately very impatient and just wanted us to be gone immediately, despite that we have reservation and despite that there seem to be enough parking. Not being able to speak Italian, we have called the property owner on whatsapp and they picked up immediately and tried their best to help, but in the end we just had to find new parking on ourselves. This is not to say it's the property's fault for this incident, but given this unpleasant experience, I would recommend next guests to find parking on your own or just drive into those 24 hours parking and pay by hours. The parking at the train station charges 18 max per calendar day, and in our case, we ended up with similar parking fee than the pre booked garage, but hassle free.
It's very conveniently located, and equipped with everything you need for a short stay in Turin. Self check-in is smooth and the hosts are very responsive. we especially liked the comfort of the bedrooms and that the two bathrooms for the two bedrooms are very convenient for family travel.

Location is great, next to the Torino Porta Nuova. Apartment is really newly renovated and You can feel in every step. Comfortable bed, TV, kitchen place, bathroom- everything is great. It's very clean, quiet place. And it had really good heating, so I was feeling very comfortable and not freezing.

There is no reception at all, it goes through chat on your mobile phone, so ensure to get BEFORE arrival the door code, AND the key box code, AND the name of your room. The hotel is located, how to say, maybe not in the most luxury part of the city :) Found a blatantly-not-mine long hair among the bed sheets but I was not impressed enough to give a bad rate, because I loved the room.
Highly recommended, I admit I was surprised by this room. I got a studio and it was awesome, very big, welcoming and comfy. The bed was big and comfy. Clean and nice kitchen. Nice bathroom, the shower is not a big one but just remove the shower hanger and will still be an enjoyable one. The big flat TV is a good point. Wi-fi perfectly working. Very close (a minute walk) to the train station of Porta Nuova.

It was a bit too hot inside the apartment and couldn’t seem to turn down the heating at all even when I turned it off.

Apartments are centrally located - walking distance from train station, metro and city center. Mobile assistance from the staff is quick and very helpful. Apartments are new and very well furnished. We will come back for sure.

Use of key means you can’t come home individually if you have split up to explore the city (shopping vs palaces etc). RFID or tokens would be a better solution.
Good location near interesting parts of the city. Clean facilities. Decent kitchen.

You get long messages from the apartment, all only in Italian. Then they ask you to pay with credit card for city tax via a website (thrustworthy?) also all in italian. And when something went wrong with providing the data of identification they were unfriendly.
It’s near both the city centre and the restaurant/nightlife. The accomodation is very clean.

The room is brand new with all the basic facilities near Porta Nuova (city centre) and Gaia is a very friendly host. I had my graduation the next day and she arranged an iron for me as a last minute request and was very helpful. We got a bit confused as we were trying to get into building 16 and couldnt enter, but the actual address was 16 bis Via Saluzzo.

Brand new apartment with great amenities. The place is located near the train station and in a neighborhood with plenty of nice bars and restaurants.
