The elevator was very smelly? it’s shared with other floors which are private suites so not the hotels fault.

This is a hotel in an old, beautiful building, so you can forget about peaceful sleep night, unless you have earplugs (you can hear all the guests talking and walking in the corridor). The coffee for breakfast was ok, but served from an automat like in a train station - it would make a huge difference to have a nice coffee machine!

The bed was really comfy and the staff super friendly. The breakfast was really good, bread and pastries were fresh and tasty. Great room service and location (Rapallo is small, so it's relatively close everywhere).

It is an older building and you can hear the neighbour rooms. Avoid coming here with a car, parking is challenging.

Old building looking lovely on the outside. Very close to Portofino, you can even go there by foot (1h+) Public parking close but be aware not to park on the moto zone

It felt a little odd having to leave our room key at the hotel when we left for the evening to get dinner, especially as we had valuables in the room, and there was no safe in which to store these. It’s a very safe little town but it felt strange!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The family room wag a great size with incredibly high ceilings, and tasteful decor in keeping with the style of the building as it would have been many years ago. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming to our two young energetic boys, and the location was great. The breakfast was generally good - the pastries and cakes were fantastic!

The whole room had a strange smell- specialy the bathroom. We felt the same in the elevator- so it could be the building's.... The room is extremly small, you have no room to move, the only option is to sit down or to lie on the bed. The bathroom is kind of a bathroom purchased in a box- the same that you'd see on ships or on a train. It is falling apart- tiles and sink is moving was afraid to touch it. At the breakfast they served no bread, the rolls were too hard to chew on the first day- the next day they served the same rolls- they were so hard that you could hit someone with it and cause an injury.... Even the italian sweet breakfast (cake, they run out of croassaint by 9 am) wasn't fresh. All in all would not stay here again ,

The location is good- the next street to the sea and the promenade. I have to mention that the lady on Easter Monday morning was very nice and polite.

We were supposed to have electric kettle, terrace, water, fruits, iron and etc according to what was mentioned in booking.com but none of them were there. We talked to them and asked them why these items were not available but they said that you should have asked for these which was not a good excuse. The WiFi was also not working properly. There was no phone in the room to call them. The shared toilet in the lobby was also not very clean.

The location of the Hotel. The staff were nice taking care of our luggage and taking them to our room while we were away. We asked for tea at night and they kindly provided it.
