When I first arrived, I was confused about where the check-in building was.

All the staff were professional and friendly. I asked for a reservation for a winery tour a day ago, and the desk staff handled it brilliantly. The swimming pool and spa are also neatly managed. There were various kinds of breakfast and the taste was satisfactory. It would be the best option if you were to take a vacation in the Tuscany region.

Only very, very minor things - the music playlist gets a bit samey, the restaurant menu is relatively small (albeit excellent) - both things that didn't impact our stay but may grate for a longer stay. Also it took us until our last day to realise you could order freshly cooked breakfast (vs the buffet), this could be made clearer. Again I view these as very minor and it's an exceptional hotel running an exceptional service

We had a near perfect stay - the locations/views are stunning, the food was great, the staff were amazing, and the sunbeds were quiet and plentiful. Everything was nigh on perfect during our stay. We'll definitely return and will be recommend the hotel to all our friends!

There was no live tv option in the room where we could catch a sporting match while it rained. The TV forces you to login to various applications but they're getting restricted now.

We truly enjoyed every aspect of the trip. In particular the Bar Manager Regina is a superstar in the making. Anna from the restaurant also stood out but management should be proud of the whole staff.

Everything is so beautiful, hotel and the outdoors, is very peacfully. Recommendation is dinner at the restoran terace, food is great and is very nice.

Staff were clearly just staring their season so maybe hadnt got into the swing of it. The rooms were very nice but some of the practicalities not considered. Bathroom door was large and forever in the way. The AC switched back on after 10-15 minutes. Both rooms had the same issue. Eventually I had to switch it off at the Distribution board. One bathroom light switch in the bathroom and the other hidden behind the TV. All hotel room light switches are generally poorly thought through; but these were really not considered at all.

Location was lovely as were the buildings and facilities.

Communication with front desk. This was not a huge problem, but it could be improved upon. I had a quick question and had to walk over to get the answer. More of an inconvenience than anything.

I think there are still some teething problems. The sound isolation at the villa could be improved, we could hear children shouting at the breakfast hall early in the morning or sounds from the room above us.

Wonderful, new property at a great location in Tuscany. The main villa is very pretty and so is the surrounding areas. We did a walk into the country side every morning. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful.

They didn’t seem to be prepared yet to welcome guests. Swimming pools not working, kitchen not working on Tuesdays, very hard to find your way to the place due to lack of any information on the road, the drive lane to the property requires some reparation, staff was not enough and not yet trained. SPA is not as expected as there are no proper rest areas.

Beautiful location with wonderful views and surrounded by nature. Property is beautiful itself. Breakfast was good, with high quality products. Gym is well equipped.

I liked everything. I would not change a thing.

From the moment my husband and I arrived, we were charmed. We spent the first two nights of our mini-moon at Tales, and I am so pleased we picked this hotel. The facilities are spectacular, it is quite literally breathtaking. You were welcomed with a warm mug of mulled wine, and brought to our room when we were ready. The hotel had a bottle of Prosecco waiting in the room, to help us celebrate. They also had made us a reservation in their hotel restaurant (it is so good, you should make a point of having dinner there). The room itself is large, excellent products (ETRO) and just beautifully decorated. The attention to detail and comfort are evident in every decision made in the design of the room. The views from our window were spectacular. We stayed in November (so already a bit too chilly to enjoy the gorgeous pools) but you can tell that Tales keeps their grounds well manicured! I will certainly book in the warmer months to take advantage of their poolside. Breakfast is also really good! The sheer amount of cheese you can have for breakfast is enough to keep you full until midday!

There were a lot of large “stink bugs” flying and crawling around the seating areas outside which detracted from the tranquil spaces however not the fault of the property - just a result of the location and perhaps time of year (stayed in mid October).

Incredible property - surrounded by beautiful landscape and is superbly decorated. There were three pools to choose from, a small gym and spa facilities which were wonderful. The room was large and very clean. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - really made our stay. The food is also excellent and there is an extensive wine list and good drinks menu. Definitely felt like a 5-star luxury hotel experience.

Stayed at the villa and it was just gorgeous, the design and layout, the atmosphere, the food and wine was superb, especially the tiramisu. Restaurant staffs were very attentive and friendly. Enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend.

The main light would not turn off with any switch in the room and they did not have someone to fix things around 10:30pm. They never addressed the issue even when I spoke to two personnel’s and went to front desk to inform about the situation. Unacceptable for a five star hotel, charging about $600 per night and being so nonchalant about the problem.
