Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SlovakiaDont get scrambled eggs on breakfast, they dont know how to make them. Not everybody from staff knew English but at least every time there was someone else who knew the language so it was not that big of a deal. Parking lot is small and its priced 10€
Great location, next to beach, dinner and lunch are in Hotel Figaro maybe 100m away, breakfast on site but great only if you like Italian style breakfast. Staff was very helpfull and kind,

SerbiaThe rooms are a bit small, and the hotel might be in need of rinnovation, but nothing too bad. I would stay there again!
A nice small hotel near the beach. The rooms are nice, personnel quite nice, the breakfast rather good and the position is also very good. It is just in front of a beach and in the night you will be able to sleep since the nightlife is about 0.5 km away (close enough to be there soon but far enough to sleep well). If you are an extremely light sleeper, ask for the room looking at the back yard, just to be on the safe side.

BelgiumIn the evening it is quite busy on the street if you open windows, lots of cars, scooters and people going out. Even though hotel has paid parking available, be aware that it is very small so can be full. But we found place to park on the street closely so was ok.
Nice location, super close to the beach but also walking distance to the old city center. Room is clean and comfortable, even though quite small. There is also a small balcony available which was nice. Good selection for breakfast, nice coffee, several kind of eggs, hams and saliami, cheeses, cakes, croissants etc.

United KingdomDespite the hotel is good overall I find it overpriced. Over summer usually prices go high but the quality/price ratio was not good. The price is too high for what you get. In addition, the property has few available car parking spot which are useful but not free, it's 8 Eur per day. It should be free but unfortunately human being always try to earn money whenever possible
The hotel has a great location straight on the seaside. The room was large enough and the bathroom had a very pleasant shower. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but it is available and served on the front terrace. The staff is friendly

United KingdomNot really a criticism, but the hotel could publicise to expected guests that there is a free (in summer) bus service to and from Pesaro station and old town to right outside the hotel. The TV didn't seem to work but we weren't planning to use it anyway.
Wide choice for breakfast, including hot and cold food. Nice outdoor terrace for eating. Room had efficient air conditioning and a small balcony with glimpses of sea between hotels opposite. All pay beaches nearby (around 20 euros for sunshade and two recliners) but easily reached from hotel. We went to Spiaggia Ciro, the nearest, which was fine. Clean beach and water, and lifeguard on duty, also cafe on site. Helpful and pleasant staff in the hotel. Interesting centro storico within walking distance.

IrelandPrivate beach area is paid separately. I believe it should be disclosed on the booking like the car parking is. We paid €25 extra at the beach for this service, but on the booking it doesn't mention this part. Also, the hairdryer could be a better one.
Breakfast had a great selection of pastry, eggs, juices, etc. The barista fresh coffee certainly a plus. The rooms were clean and the smell on the hotel overall was like sea breeze. Also, the balcony is a plus, nice to spend the evenings looking the view :)

PolandActually I’m reviewing Amadeus Figaro hotel and staff from both Amadeus Promenade & Figaro. “Figaro”: Clean, comfortable room. Balcony with sea view. Good breakfast. Very polite and helpful staff. “Promenade”: Staff was extremely helpful, they redirected us to Figaro, before our arrival. They notified us (over the phone) as soon as they learned that Promenade will not be open for the time of our reservation. Everything was done in friendly and professional manner. We were offered upgraded room and free parking because of inconvenience.

United KingdomCleaning was ok but not very accurate. Also few towels were stained. The air conditioning was quite noisy and there is no much insulation between rooms. The hairdryer needs to be updated.
Fantastic location in the “lungomare” of Pesaro, literally 1 minute away from the beaches. Staff was helpful and very polite. The room had a lovely small balcony that allowed to see the sea from distance, what a lovely way to start a day! Fantastic breakfast. Good Wi-Fi service.

GermanyWe got upgraded to a larger bathroom, but still that we found a bit too tiny to be comfortable. The double bed had two mattresses, and they weren’t so comfortable. We prefer a single mattress, but that is hard to filter when booking.
We only stayed 1 night in Pesaro (which was a mistake), and for that our stay at Hotel Promenade was just right. The staff spoke English with us and helped to find a parking area for the car. (Letting them manage the parking seemed too complicated for the short stay). The breakfast was okayish, but that was most likely due to the pandemic. I think they made the best of it, still! The location is central enough to reach the beaches and restaurants easily by foot.
