Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThere wasn't much to not like. The only thing was the waiter at the restaurant she could have been a bit friendlier.
The place and accommodation was beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast was lovely with fresh baked bread or cake. The host was very helpful and friendly and lent us umbrellas and a child paddling board for our daughter to use in the sea.

ItalyThe restaurant could improve their all around services , however to my understanding it is not part of the property-
Exceptional, hospitality top notch, host was responding fast via telephone and the welcoming in person was the best by far in all Sardinia. Little house for a single traveler was cozy , silent with a good mattress, full functional shower, great coffee machine, fridge all sparkling clean. The set up is very well cared off, and holds a magic rare to find, beautiful swimming pool and the only one I found functional out of season! Great get away location close to all north east destinations -

Magical location. The smell and beauty of nature was a real change of scenery. Lovely breakfast (the eggs are delicious). The pool (while a bit cold) was a delight and refreshed us on a warm day. Staff was so kind and thoughtful. Wish we could have stayed there longer. This place will stay in our memories.

SloveniaThe mattress could be a tad more comfortable.
Beautiful location, the property is well taken care of. Nice groomed garden. We were happy to have the coffee machine in the room - a pleasant feature. They were happy to wait for us a couple of minutes longer for our check in. Really close you have also the archaeological sites of nuraghi. A car or motorcycle is a must. The restaurant inside the resort is really good if you would like to have a dinner after a long day in Costa Smeralda.

AustraliaFrom the moment we stepped foot into Punta D'Acu Country Resort in Arzachena, we were entranced by the serene gardens and charming farmhouse homes that dot the property. Our two-bedroom farmhouse accommodation was an epitome of beauty, ranking among the most exquisite places we've ever had the pleasure to stay. Nestled within five acres of meticulously landscaped gardens, the sense of solitude was unparalleled. Christina, our gracious host, went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was perfect. Her dedication and the allure of her property left an indelible mark on our experience. Dining at the resort was an absolute delight, with some of the finest Sardinian cuisine we've ever savored. The staff's warmth and readiness to accommodate not just us, but also five last-minute friends, showcased their hospitality. Mornings greeted us with a sumptuous continental breakfast, a genuine treat. We also relished a leisurely 20-minute stroll to Nuraghe La Prisgiona, which allowed us to savor the local charm. Our time at Punta D'Acu Country Resort was nothing short of enchanting. We wholeheartedly recommend this exquisite property to anyone seeking an exceptional getaway.

BelgiumLow cell reception in the rooms.
Worthy of a true countryside resort. A real oasis to take some time off and reset. Very professional and caring host ; she provided detailed information about nearby beaches and restaurants. We did not try the restaurant on compound. Great guest service, impeccable rooms, beautiful grounds to roam around in as well as a beautiful pool. 10/10 breakfast. AC in the rooms. We recommend bringing one of their shower gels/shampoos, made from wild olive trees, back home. They're available for purchase at reception and smell divine.

BrazilEverything was good :)
Beautiful accommodation in the heart of Sardinia! Green, silent, and gorgeous resort, plenty of trees, relaxing atmosphere, and the chirping of birds :) Very nice pool also. Spacious and typical sardinian room with great facilities, such as potent A/C, comfortable bed and bathroom. The hotel is located about 10min by car from Arzachena, a small and charming village, which is worthy to visit. We didn't have dinner at the hotel, once we did that in Arzachena, but the restaurant at the property seems to be nice too. To be hosted at Punta D'Acu is definitely an incredible and picturesque experience!

NetherlandsThe location is absolutely beautiful, set in a big garden full of olive trees surrounded by mountains. Cristina is a wonderful host who took great care of us and served us the best breakfast we’ve had in Sardegna! Also she tipped us to have dinner in San Pantaleo, which was a good choice. It’s a lovely little town with great restaurants. We had dinner at l’Assaggio - highly recommended!

This was the best stay for us in Sardinia, and we stayed in few places. The host Cristina is excellent, in welcoming you, guide you and also taking care of you. The rooms are very clean and with big windows, that you can open entirely. The whole place is great, the pool, the terrace, the restaurant, the view of the city. if you are looking for a relaxing place, outside of cities or crowds, here is the place. I would return there for sure. we didn't use the pool but looks really nice

RomaniaStarting with Christina - who was there to help, guide, advice us whenever we needed... and even before we knew we needed :-)... Continuing with our stazzo Olivastro (Sardinian traditional house), we've been accommodated in... spacious, clean, comfortable... Going further with the entire property which could be the perfect definition / meaning for PEACE OF MIND expression... At least but not last....the fabulous dinner we had with traditional Sardinian products.... Punta D'Acu now gained its place in our hearts.... Mille grazie Christina!
