How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There was nothing wrong with anyway
The room was very spacious and clean. Can’t fault the staff. They were great. Had such a lovely stay. Room was cleaned every day. They have a restaurant in the hotel and the food was lovely! On our last day it was raining quite hard the lovely staff gave us an umbrella. Would 100% visit again

Good to have parking onsite. Book restaurant if you are planning to have dinner there, otherwise you might not get a table. Pizzas were quite tasty. Breakfast was nothing special but OK.

Very warm owners. Rooms big and clean. Breakfast box in early morning (4:30). Restaurant on Saturday evening was full of the people. Food was again very good. Not very far from the airport. We are happy, thank you.

Everything was good.
The owners were very kind. The rooms were very comfortable and warm. The breakfast was quite good and the restaurant-pizzeria of the hotel very interesting.

This hotel was incredible. it was very nice accommodations and the restaurant provided a very nice breakfast. The restaurant was busy in the evenings with locals and other guests and provided wonderful food. The couple that runs the hotel and restaurant and their employees were always very accommodating and helpful during our stay. We would recommend this location highly.

The staff at Quattro for most of the time was amazing. very accommodative , friendly and flexible. The breakfast was sufficient and if I needed anything additional they were kind enough to accomodate it. The area is calm and quiet and i felt very safe. The Verdellino station is about 5 mins walk which was perfect when i needed to go to Milan city center over the weekend or even go to Verona/Venice! I would highly recommend this place

Some serious flooding in the bathroom after taking shower, stucking toilet flush, take away breakfast (we asked for 'salt' not 'sweet') was so-so (both quantity and variety).
Clean and comfortable room and bathroom, giant and comfortable shower cabin, very nice staff, private parking lot, long check-in hours, good pizza. Very nice, ferry tale like decorations on the corridor.

The location is outside the city, making it difficult to reach. The train should have made things simple, but beware of strikes or prepare for 30€ taxi from Bergamo train station. The staff didn't speak English.
The room, bathroom and bed were all beautiful and large. Mattress was extremely comfortable. Nice big mirror, good selection of amenities, fridge in the room and the air conditioning working very well. Exceptionally delicious cakes and coffee for breakfast.

Room was super clean! Everything was really ok. I recommend to stay in this place to everybody. The owner was very nice and helpful guy. Breakfast was really tasty. This place should be rated to 10+!
