Superb location, super helpful reception, large clean well appointed rooms, fabulous breakfast in cafe downstairs (extra charge as expected, but with a discount), easy parking nearby (again extra charge as expected but with a discount). Cannot fault the property would definitely stay again when we are next in beautiful Trieste.

Location super convenient in the center of the City. Close to parking and everything. Staff very friendly and super accommodating. Rooms very tastefully furnished and the bed a dream to sleep on. The windows are amazingly soundproof and although our room was on the second floor overlooking the street, there was minimal/no traffic nor outdoor café noises to disturb. The establishment had no "breakfast" on site, there was an excellent café next door which offered a discount to hotel guests. The same discount applied to a nearby fish and meat restraint. Excellent associations and accomodations.

The Location is Excellent and the rooms are very Large. I was on the 3rd floor and there was no noise around. You can check in at any time.

I would have given the hotel a full 10 rating had it not due to the room assigned to us couldn’t be locked, however, we were re-assigned to another room after 20 min trying to fix the door.

Although the hotel is centrally located, it is quiet. It has a small lift. Room is spacious, kings sized bed is comfortable with adequate heating, so is the bathroom. Service is great, helpful and friendly. Although the hotel has no carpark which is normal in downtown Trieste, Saint Guisto carpark is just 5 min walk to the hotel. From the entrance to the carpark, cross the street to the opposite, walk thru the narrow lane which is curved to the right, made the first left turn thru the corner restaurant, walk till the end and you will see a narrow pedestrian tunnel across you, walk thru the tunnel and you will arrive at the square, turn right and you will see the hotel across the street. If you choose to turn left from the tunnel, you will arrive at The Unity of Italy Square.

There was an occasional unpleasant sewage smell in the bathroom. I kept the door shut which prevented the smell to spread to the bedroom.

It is totally central. Its location is a true highlight. I could walk from the train station to it so catching the local bus no. 6 to Castello Miramare was a synch. I also appreciated that they offered a water fountain so we could fill up our water bottles and not need to weigh down myself with purchasing water from a local store. It didn’t serve breakfast but it is just a skip away from Viezolli Pirona where breakfast is a treat of local pastries and delicious coffee and one can watch the locals begin their busy day. In addition there was a NESPRESSO machine and water kettle to enjoy that 1st cup in the morning.
