Our staying in Raphael Hotel in Arbatax was wonderful! Very nice staff, wonderful breakfasts, many restaurants nearby with very tasty Italian food. The place is outstanding, the view from the terrace is magnificent! The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was very calm and with great landscapes.

Arbatax is a little rundown but has its charm and there are some splendid other places to visit in the area. Would have preferred the parking to be private rather than on the pavement outside.

The staff were exceptionally cheerful and efficient and we particularly liked the roof terraces both for breakfast and an aperitif.

The hotel is a boutique hotel and has a very intimate feel. The staff are all really friendly and they are happy to help with day trip recommendations. Breakfast is fantastic and Julia will go above and beyond to make what you like. The hotel is in easy walking distance of 5 - 10 good restaurants.

Great breakfast, great room. Very nice employees. A lot to do in Arbatax and great beaches around. We had a day on a boat and the hotel prepared us breakfast boxes to take! Great stay overall!

The timing of our trip coincided with a music festival in the town,which was unfortuate but in no way a reflection on the hotel.

The room was very nice with a stunning bathroom and a quiet terrace. The location is very nice. Directly in the centre of Arbatax near the harbour and just a short walk away from the best restaurants in town. Breakfast was also very nice. Fresh scrambled eggs and ham upon demand. Also a nice selection of cheese is available as well as ham and sausages. WiFi worked well.

Beautiful and well maintained hotel. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was excellent and there were plenty of options to choose from. The freshly squeezed orange juice, omelettes and home baked cakes were delicious.

The hotel is impeccable and comfortable at the same time. Is a family run hotel where you will get a personalised experience. It is very well located walking distance to two small rock beaches and the tourist port, but also close enough to drive to beautiful sand beaches. Has a small pool and a nice garden if you just want to stay in and relax, and a rooftop terrace to enjoy the sunset. Breakfast is very good with fresh cheese and ham from the region. Very much recommended if you are looking for quiet vacation days.

the only but small drawback - the owner was pushing us to let the cleaning in while we’d rather stay at our room… he literally said that we MUST let them in even if we didn’t want that… well, when I rent a room at the hotel, I’d rather stay there whenever I want for how long I want…

If I could I would give this hotel 15 points out of 10. Beautiful furnished and arranged rooms - but most importantly really CLEAN rooms. Great location. Perfect, kind and helpful stuff, they are willing to help you with everything. Enough options of meals for breakfast. Amazing view from panoramic bar. Nice garden with beautiful new pool. Got room with sea view and terrace and it was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend this hotel if you want the best. I will try to get back to this hotel. Thank to whole stuff for making our stay even better.

Wonderful experience to stay in this small and cozy hotel with the highest comfort level and brand new. Special mention to ALL the staff for their kindness and willingness to delight their guests. Tip: book for a dinner in the panoramic terrace contemplating the sunset.

Everything was great. Very kind and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast with a good choice from the menu, great coffee. Really clean and well equipped rooms, modernly furnished. The location is very pleasant, in a quiet part of Arbatax.
