We had such a wonderful time at Hotel Ravesi. The hotel is a peaceful oasis in the centre of Malfa. There are gardens, a rooftop terrace and a heated infinity pool and all with the most incredible view out to sea and of the neighbouring islands Stromboli and Panarea. Our room, which was recently refurbished, was beautiful and serene. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to help us have the perfect stay, helping us organise activities and giving us advise on what to do on the island. Just amazing! We will be back for sure!

This was one of our favorite hotels...ever. We were upgraded to a suite, but I suspect that every room here is superb. Ours had a small living area and a spacious bedroom. But the main reason to come to Ravesi is the sea. Our room had a large terrace with comfortable furniture and an incredible view over the Tyrrhenian Sea to Panarea and Stromboli. The pool is remarkable, an infinity pool with an ever broader view over the ocean. The hotel has lush gardens that spill far down the hillside toward the water and a beautiful terrace for aperitifs or a light lunch. The food is also excellent. Hard to imagine a better stay on an island in Europe.

While the breakfast selection is very good, I would personally prefer a wider selection of cooked items (only scrambled eggs are available). That said, the breakfast is inexpensive compared to other hotels we stayed at in Sicily and cooked breakfast isn't really a 'thing' in Italy in quite the same way.

Above all the service provided by the staff is outstanding. The infinity pool and terrace with views of Panarea and Stromboli in the distance (after dark you can actually see Stromboli erupting from the terrace) is the standout feature of the hotel. The gardens are also beautiful. The bar is staffed by an excellent barman with a great selection of cocktails available. The beds are also especially comfy. The high review scores really are deserved.

Welcoming, relaxing, a special untouched place with charm and beauty. We had fresh homemade food from Mrs Ravesi and delicious cocktails. All made with love and the best ingredients. I loved the aeolian flatbread with fresh tomatoes, onion, olives, anchovies and the best capers I have ever tasted. The receptionists were so helpful with organisation taxis and ideas(boat ride, wine tasting and amazing sunset spot). A place to come back to. Please don’t change!

We loved the location right in the middle of Malfa. The gardens are fabulous and the views superb. Lucy and Ilaria and the rest of the staff were very helpful and friendy. Nothing seemed to much trouble. The property is beautifully looked after and clean.

Beautiful property, set in lush gardens with an infinity pool. Welcomed by our wonderful hosts, Lucy, Giucy and Nadia. They made us feel like we were home away from home. Breakfast delicious with many homemade treats. Would definitely recommend for an enjoyable stay.

Everything. Cannot fault it. The most beautiful place in the world with the most lovely and friendly staff who helped with everything. We were stranded after all the ferries being cancelled and they went above and beyond to help us and organise ways to get us to our next destination. Michael’s tours on the hotels boat is a MUST. His warmth and knowledge of the area cannot be matched. Best place we’ve stayed!

Nothing …perfection in all aspects.

The hotel is beautiful in all aspects. The rooms are authentically decorated, beautifully comfortable and immaculately clean. The pool area has an ambience of peace and tranquility as the gardens are so romantically created and maintained. Most of all the staff that run the hotel create a warm and family like atmosphere. At no time was anything too much to assist and support you with. This hotel should be rated five stars given the superior level of service. The food is delightful. Every time you turn around the corner, they have made the appearance of this hotel so charming. The ability to retain the original aspects of the architecture of the hotels history is a credit to them and makes this hotel quite unique to the island of Salina. It is located close to the village and allows you to walk to the local restaurants which are also lovely and gave wonderful local produce. They have a bar that you can sit in the garden and look out to the sea and the other Aeolian islands. This hotel is just heaven ..

The only thing I would recommend is free natural drinking water as I think that should be accessible and maybe even a shuttle service to and from the hotel

The interiors were amazing, and the view from the pool is one I have never seen before. The staff were very helpful and proper. Breakfast was great and the free appetisers you received when ordering a cocktail were a good idea
