The walls are still quite thin, even after the refurbishment - we were in a room next to the elevators, and could hear them clicking along all night long.

Friendly staff on arrival - upgraded to a triple room at no extra cost. Location is convenient, only 4 tram stops to the centre of Florence (10 mins), or a pleasant walk for 25 mins. Large rooms and balconies - kept spotlessly clean by the staff Great shower pressure!

Excellent quirky hotel only 10 mins by tram from the city centre. The reception staff were super helpful and friendly. Great breakfast! Room was tidied every day which was lovely. The hotel had everything we needed - washing machines, ironing board, little balcony in the room :) The shower was great, good water pressure! Absolutely happy with our stay!!

Bathroom had a shower, bidet and toilet in one space. Outside was a little loud at times, but with closed windows it didn't bother us at all.

Whilst the beds and bathrooms were cleaned well, I think the floors in the room need to be vaccumed/mopped a bit better, I dropped something on the floor and it came up covered with some crusty stuff.

We booked a private room which was a bunk bed with an ensuite. The bunk bed was actually very comfortable and the room was not cramped, there was enough space to put all our things. Our favourite part of the stay was the complimentary breakfast buffet. The food was very nice and we could see the staff always working hard to refill the food and keep the space clean. The reception staff was also very friendly, and our rooms were cleaned on a daily basis (only the cleaning staff could not speak English well).

A 25 minute walk from Center City - but it's a very nice/quiet walk and you can take the tram if you'd like to get there faster.

Hotel room was nicer than expected with a beautiful balcony view. Bathroom and all amenities were clean and working, lots of facilities within the hotel including laundry. The included breakfast was great!

The only downside was the shower drains really slow, might be clogged but no other complaints.

I loved that they had a breakfast and it was open for a decent amount of time. They also had a desk staff 24/7 which was very helpful as we got in very late one evening and we felt safe coming back and it was easy to get in. The towels also got changed and beds got made which was a bonus. Not always necessary but was helpful. Also gave us an extra bath mat when we asked for one.

The elevator was old and there are only 2 in the building. This wasn't a problem, but we had to wait very very long for it to arrive. We would have walked, had we not been living on the 6th floor. What shocked us a bit, was that the toilet was in the shower, which means that after you showered, the toilet seat was wet. This is probably to save room, and honestly as long as you close the toilet, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. We also think that the price was pretty high for the quality, but you can't really find anything less expensive in Florence.

The breakfast was amazing. They had so much to choose from, and it was very delicious. We also liked the interior of the facility. We also think it's nice that they also have communal rooms for students. The staff was very nice and helpful, they even provided tips and maps. We were also able to check out and leave our luggage at the hostel, while we explored the city before our train left. The view was also breathtaking. The hostel is a bit further away from the city centre, but luckily it's very easy to navigate the trams in Florence, which take you very close to the location of the hotel. Overall, the hostel made a great impression and we would definetly stay again!

Wonderful location and staff. There were many restaurants in walking distance as well as the tram that takes you to and from the city center. The staff was extremely helpful in providing information and they also were able to fix our air conditioning immediately. The room was also perfect for what we needed. The breakfast was also a highlight and something that we looked forward to each day.

I do feel like having a shower and toilet separate from one another should have been more important than having a bidet.

I loved how simple and functional it was. It was light and airy and everything worked perfectly. The ease of getting into the city centre by tram was also so great.
