How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We are Family of four but my son sleeps in the folding not comfy. Which we are not aware even during the booking time.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. We forgot our adapter to charge our phone and they lend for the whole time. Lots of restaurant around the area. Location is close to the Metro. Breakfast is good.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
I liked how friendly the staff were. They did an excellent job. I liked being able to walk a short distance to the metro and being able to go anywhere in Rome.

Everything thing was nice. The breakfast could be better.
The location is amazing! Near the subway. calm neighborhood. I think just the breakfast could be better with more natural foods and less industrial food.

Sometimes was noisy in the early morning.
The Hotel is easy to find, train and metro stations are close. The room is clean, with slippers, shampoo and clean towels. Breakfast is good, it has something for everybody and the hotel staff is great, very friendly, helpful and positive! Overall, great value for the money.

The WiFi signal was very poor on the third floor, it kept disconnecting. Also, the shower cabin was rather small and the ventilation in the bathroom did not work.
The location is excellent, 5 minutes walk from the metro station, which is 4 stops away from Termini. The room was clean, comfortable, and average size. Plenty of soap and shower gel. Cleaning and towel replacement daily. The free mini bar was a nice touch.

It was perfect.
Good restaurants were close by and within walking distance. Full breakfast was included. Short walk from the train station. Staff communicated prior to our stay.

Hotel is very cozy, clean, with very helpful and polite staff. Localization is awesome if someone is looking for quiet place. Underground station is 5 minutes away. Center of Rome is 10-15 minutes away with one line of underground. Colosseum is 30 minutes away of walk. In area there’s a few local pubs, restaurants, grocery’s. Breakfast were tasty and also worth of recommendation.

Although the breakfast was tasty it could be more varied. It was almost always the same.
It was near the metro and Colosseum. The staff was super helpful and friendly. It was clean. The reception worked 24 hours.

The hotel location is perfect. Situated in a quiet neighborhood away from the city center, it is conveniently close to the metro station, allowing easy access to all destinations in the city. Paulo greeted us with a big smile and gave us all the information we needed about the hotel and its facilities. He is professional and friendly, and answered all of our questions without hesitation. Breakfast is to die for and the ladies who manage it are lovely. Room was big and clean, it didn’t have any shampoo or conditioner but we brought ours so it wasn’t an issue. Overall, even it was a bit on the pricey side, our stay was really good and I 100% recommend it.

The scrambled eggs were questionable.
Coffee machine to make various specialty coffees, many pastries, croissants, toast, basket of fruits, salami and cheese, hard boiled eggs. The staff was quick to refill items and very friendly.
