Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IraqJust minor things, I will like the room with card access instead of key, same applied for the safe box.
Staff , staff and staff , the staff, there was really amazing and willing to help, they make you feel like staying in ur friends' home, not at a hotel. David did his best to make this possible , Antonio also was great help. The hotel is not really in the center, but the metro station is very near, and the bus stop across the road, which is only 2 stops from the train station and 3 from Colosseum. The room was clean, the air-conditioning worked very well , the room have fridge and safe ( although the safe is a bit old but efficient). Free snacks and coffee are available in the morning.

United KingdomA little dated but this did not ruin our stay. A strange smell in the room but this may just have been a scent they used that I wasn’t used to.
Loved the staff and the terrace. Great place to spend a few nights in Rome for a great price. The hotel is only a short walk from the Metro which was ideal for getting around and visiting all the attractions. When we needed an extra charger the staff ensured that we had one. Great bed very comfortable and air con was amazing and quiet.

Everything was perfect, personal of the hotel was extra client oriented, they helped me with a lot of small personal issues The hotel mentioned they do not provide the breakfast, however there were some fruits, croissants and coffee, thereafter, it was a continental breakfast included, I think The district of location is quiet, I used to come to the hotel after 23.00, everything was OK. Termini is around 20 min walking, the metro station is about 2 min walking. The room was clean. The room was very nice Hope to come back)))

Great option! The staff were very nice and helpful, the hotel room was comfortable and clean. It’s a bit outside of the hectic city centre which I enjoyed, but it’s super easy to reach with the metro. I felt safe in the neighbourhood walking around in the evening as a female solo traveler.

IsraelNothing serious, the hotel is a bit dated. Unnecessarily large bathroom while the bedroom is quite small. No electricity socket next to the desk.
Great location, walking distance from Policlinico and the university and very close to Termini. Quiet and relaxed area. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

LebanonNOTHING. I will surely come back here next time i am in Rome. It feels like home.
It starts with a friendly atmosphere, where one feels supported and assisted in all aspects by the reception team, even before you get to the hotel. For example, when i arrived at Roma airport the train was on strike, and the hotel team was keeping me informed of possible alternatives to reach the city through whatsapp messages. Plus, the team is very fluent in english. The place is very clean, regular , impeccable room service everyday. The room is very good. With all needed. The small "dining" place is very useful too, with a good choice of snacks including fruits , coffee.... very good for those on the run. The hotel is well placed and at very short distance from public transportation lines and good dining places as well. The neigjborhood is very nice.

United KingdomThe only thing I would have done differently was bring a Roku/Fire stick for the TV, as all the channels were (understandably) in Italian, though this didn’t have a significant impact as I spent most of my trip outside of the room.
The staff was so incredibly helpful. They reached out over WhatsApp ahead of my stay to make sure check in went smoothly. Throughout my stay, they were available to provide assistance in many ways, like giving advice, providing a cork screw, extra towels, and even cutting a tag off of my shirt before heading out for the day. My room was cleaned every day of my five day stay. The hotel is located right by a Metro stop that takes you to and from all of the sites and the train station with trains every 5-10 minutes for about €3.

SerbiaAll was perfecf
Everything was great. Comparing to the other hotels in Rome, this one was affordable. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to all kinds of public transport - metro, bus, tram. Easy to find and great for a solo female traveler. Hotel is OK, room also. It was perfectly clean with the air conditioning on when I came which was great taking into account it was June and very hot outside. Even they don't offer breakfast, in one small room in the morning for all the guests they bring some croissants, juice, water, coffee, fruits so you can take it for free. Really perfect if you have a meeting at nine so you just grab it before. :) But the kindness of the stuff is level pro. I asked them for the ironing before coming, the iron was waiting for me at the reception when I came. I had a problem with the charger for my phone, they borrowed me a charger. Thank you guys, I will come again for sure.

United StatesEuropean coffee machine all morning was great for espressos and cappuccinos but you had to basically dilute it to make it taste like our filtered drip stuff we drink in the US - but that I freely admit is a Me problem and “when in Rome…”
This hotel was clean clean clean! the staff was wonderful and the location of convenient to transport but away from the crowds of tourists. A comfortable bed and a big TV to watch “Rockford and son” in it’s original Italian and a fridge to put my groceries in. many excellent authentic restaurants nearby to choose from. Keep your in mind you are a ways from the big sights BUT this area is the true Rome. I felt totally safe there and the surrounding huge old houses were a treat to see. There is a lovely restful park just north of the hotel with several beautiful buildings in it too!

Serbia-
This was my fifth time in Rome and by far the best experience I’ve had with a hotel! The location is very convenient, there is a metro station nearby (Policlinico, line B), so you can easily reach the city center, but I didn’t mind walking, because the whole neighborhood is beautiful, so you can enjoy amazing architecture while walking (and also it’s very safe and not at all touristy, which I liked). The room I booked was a single room with a private bathroom, the first thing I noticed is the cleanliness, which is at the highest level! There were also a small fridge and a safe included. The room isolation is great, I stayed there for more than a week and not once did I hear the other guests (and the hotel was fully booked). There was no breakfast, however there was free coffee and also free snacks/fruits provided every morning, which I thought was a very nice gesture. The best thing about this hotel is the staff! Every single member was exeptionally kind, helpful, professional and attentive, they made my stay even more comfortable and more wonderful, I truly appreciate their hospitality and would highly recommend staying here!

United StatesNothing really!
The room was great, we had a terrific view. It was very clean and comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable with quality linens. The bathroom, was also very clean and they gave us clean towels every day. Although not an official breakfast, we did have coffee, fresh fruit, and some pastry snacks. The staff (especially Davide) were super friendly and helpful with local restaurant tips and touristy recommendations.

JordanI didn’t like the location. It is in front of a bus station and very close to the metro station but in Rome the buses didn’t come like what was shown in google maps and I arrived on Sunday so all the transportation got delayed. It is really far from the top attractions in Rome so be aware of that.
The staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and everyday they have room service and new towels. they don’t have breakfast but they have a coffee corner which was nice.
