Room wasn't 100% clean and decor generally tired. There was a fridge but it was not plugged in. There was a tea tray but only had 3 tea bags - no coffee or milk. Breakfast was average. Some staff not particularly friendly. Bed was very hard so not really comfortable

Although it is a 4* hotel, the air conditioners do not refrigerate at all. The entry card to the room didn't work until they finally gave me a regular key. Maintenance level is very low and everyone in the hotel knows about the problems and just ignores it

There were various stains on the bedding, and I preferred not to use it, the bed frame was torn off, this could be put back together by hand, the bathroom was very dirty and the shower pipe was held together by the holy spirit. It was cheap accommodation, but... Not that cheap :)

The garden was nice, we've found parking and the receptionist guy was very kind.

The stay at the hotel Barrage was amazing. I can higly recommend it. The breakfast was really good. The rooms are modern, clean and well furnished. I would recommend it to everybody, who is looking for a beautiful stay in the area of Pinerolo.

Worst ever receptionist experience! We booked a family suite (1 double bed, 2 single beds) and the receptionist Mrs. Giada told us the following: 1. We did a cancellation. Reality: we had an official confirmation from Booking.com. 2. The receptionist told us that the Hotel Barrage does not provide the family suite as booked and visible on Booking.com. 3. We did not get our confirmed family suite. Instead we got a double bed and a very uncomfortable sleeping couch for our two kids. 4. We asked to get in contact with the hotel manager. Result: the receptionist did not want to contact the hotel manager to solve the situation. Instead we were told to look for another hotel. Next day the new receptionist Mrs. Victoria gladely provided us with the initially booked and confirmed family suite. In parallel the housekeeping ladies and the restaurant manager approached us in a highly professional manner. They were already informed about the disrespectful behaviour from Mrs. Giada the day before.

Their “garden view” rooms are actually mold-filled rooms facing the parking lot. The first room they gave us was so smelly that we couldn’t physically stay there, so they moved us to a room next to it that at least didn’t smell as much but was full of dust and was, in a word, disgusting. We were there for a friend’s wedding, and they actually gave the first smelly room to another guest who then had to crash in another guest’s room because the smell was so bad, so we are not the only ones who complained. The room we ended up sleeping in had no windows (the door is considered the “window”), was still quite moldy, and was literally falling apart. Staff was outwardly pleasant but not forthcoming on the status of the rooms nor did they give any sort of compensation for the subpar accommodation. We speak/are Italian and they completely brushed off our questions about why they even rent these rooms. I don’t know how the other rooms in the hotel are, but be aware that if you book here you might be booking the rooms I described above and still pay the full price per night.
