very kind family, went above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. great house, with Gorgeous magnificent garden and a small very clean pool. located on a hill, beautiful view, supermarket is less than 10 min away, lake is about 20 min walking. safe and beautiful area. we had home made breakfast, which was delicious and plentiful ( and healthy)…

The accommodation is a steep walk from Valmadrera train station though walking was our choice - in hindsight we should have taken the bus. If you are driving to this B&B you are OK.

Nothing negative to mention.It was an excellent stay!

We had the room with the terrace looking at the garden/pool. The room was very spacious with many amenities (microwave,coffee machine etc). We also spent some time by the pool and enjoyed the beautiful garden the owners have created! The breakfast was served at the garden and it was a very rich one!! The owners were very very friendly and accommodated all our needs! Considering the location, the place is not in the downtown but instead it’s located at a very quiet neighborhood! If we will go back we will definitely go again to this property!!!

We got the room in the basement, the room was spacious, but it actually had only one small window above the ground. Also it was stated that there are one bedroom and one living room, instead it's just one room, divided by curtain =) In order to get to garden you had to walk up on the stairs outside through the parking area. Breakfast options were purely communicated. Check out times are too early. I feel a bit like it was tourist trap, the owner used the good overall rating to rent out his worst room in the house for high price in the low season.

We basically booked this place because it is B&B and has a pool. After a day’s drive to reach the destination, we were certainly hoping to relax a bit in the pool. But the owner rejected us from using the pool, saying pool is closed after 7 pm. Ok that’s his rule but bug disappointment for us in the first day. Second disappointment!, we asked for a breakfast, but he was not able to offer because it’s a request on short notice. Hello! isn’t b&b supposed to be ready for such request. How come you don’t ask us before or provide some information about the breakfast? 3rd disappointment! We are not allowed to go to pool again at 9 in the morning, the rule again. It’s rule we were not communicated and something we never experienced in our holidays in Italy. Totally inflexible and cater to the guests request. No guest friendly. The guy is also difficult to communicate in English and sound unfriendly. The room we were given were nice, but had to go through their living room in their ever presence. Even the bathroom was not attached to the room. So there was no privacy. To get to the property by car is also not optimal. Consider other places before booking this place. For us never again!

The room we were offered was clean, nicely furnished, had a balcony and the air conditioner. Without air conditioner, the room would have been super hot to stay and sleep.
