Lovely stay which I totally recommend - The room was quite small but enough for two people with clean bathroom and comfy bed. We could also make a tea or coffee and we received breakfast vouchers for every morning to a close caffeteria including coffee, pastry and juice. And most importantly - the location of the accomodation is very good, 10mins walk from the Vatican City and 5 mins from the Vatican Museums. The provider is very sweet and helpful. :) Thanks!

I have never met such a nice attitude of a host. Claudia was extremely helpful with everything. Tips for restaurants, places. They also accommodated us in preparing the room earlier. The rooms were new and clean. Comfortable mattresses. Location Within 10 minutes on foot to the Vatican. 5 minutes to the metro station. I would definitely go back.

The bathroom amenities were limited, but since we happened to be there when the cleaning crew was present it was remedied.

The rooms were large and well equipped. The location was central for walking and close to a metro stop. There were restaurants and shops close by. There is an interesting system to access the building but it was well described in advance and help was always available even though no one was actually on location. The breakfast was provided at a nearly restaurant that was good and very pleasant.

A great location near the Vatican museum and close to cafes and restaurants. There is somewhere to leave luggage if you arrive earlier than the 3pm checkin which we found useful. We stayed for one night only and it was adequate for our needs. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable so we had a very restful night.

My parents, who do not speak any foreign language, were staying in the accommodation. Claudia was incredibly helpful. The accommodation was amazing according to my parents, everything was new and clean. Great location from where it is very close to the sights. Claudia regularly asked if everything was ok, advised where to restaurant, where the best ice cream was etc. Great accommodation which I can only recommend.

Claudia was the most helpful host. She was attentive, checking in regularly and giving wonderful advice and recommendations on local restaurants and shopping. The location of the apartment rooms are perfect. Five minutes from St Peters Square, a minute walk from the metro and surrounded with excellent bars and restaurants. The room was super comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Even complimentary coffee! Would definitely recommend staying here, total value for money and we would certainly return.

For the price, really everything was fine. Just make sure you contact the host right away if you arrive late in evening to make sure you receive your door codes and directions on how to get in.

Historical place near the Vatican and metro with a small room and a good bathroom. Kettle, espresso machine, very small refrigerator, but it is there). Entrance to the room using codes. Caring Claudia sent an explanation via WhatsApp in great detail with a many photo.

No soundproofing inside, you could hear the hallway noises as they were in your room. Shower water was limited I guess, it got cold after a while.

The host was very nice, wrote us in detail how to get to the hotel, and how to check in (which was a little complex, but we got the clearest explanations, so we couldn't be able to get lost). We also got a small gift as it was Christmas :) The location was near the metro with 15 min to Termini and less to the common central areas, and was in 5-10 min walking distance to Vaticano.

we never met the owner in person, only messaging. we got wrong room number and code and mistakenly entered an occupied room, the address on Google Maps is wrong and despite having been warned we had to walk to the right address upon arrival. The breakfast voucher for the nearby cafe included just a coffee, a juice and a pastry. The passcodes, doors and corridors were noisy. No reception, luggage room unattended.

The house holder Claudia is the best of the best. She let me check in 6 hours in advance, she recommended me the best restaurants, she agreed to let me stock my luggages for free after I checked out. I can 100% assure next time when I am in Rome, I will stay in this hotel again!

The hotel doesn’t have facilities like a reception, the property and rooms are accessed with a code. The location is also difficult to find on Google Maps. However, this didn’t lead to any issues during my stay as Claudia warned me in advance. Overall, Relais Roma Vaticano offers great value for money.

Relais Roma Vaticano is a small hotel in a convenient location close to the Vatican. The rooms are newly renovated, modern, and clean, and the staff is wonderful. The owner, Claudia, was very welcoming and helpful, sharing useful information about the hotel before the trip and even sending me recommendations for places and things to do in the area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable but affordable stay in Rome.
