How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The One Boutique Hotel & Spa is outstanding. The room with the balcony was superb. The spa is out of this World and definitely not to be missed. Book your session the minute you arrive, if not before. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful.

Access to the spa facilities is not free to guests and is quite expensive just to use pool, sauna, steam room etc. I think a reduced rate for guests would make it more appealling.
Superb location in the heart of Rome. Staff wete very friendly and amazingly helpful! Breakfast was lovely and the snacks and drinks in bar were very reasonably priced. We got tbe exec room with amazibg balcony, definitely worth it.

One of the best hotels i have stayed in. From start to finish the hotel staff both at reception and bar were outstanding. So helpfull and friendly. The room was perfect and clean and extremely modern with push button lighting and curtains. Coffee muchine.and kettle. Lovely shower. Small little lift to room. Hotel location is excellent 4 min walk from trevi fountain. And 5 min walk to hop on hop off bus stop. Breakfast is lovely with freshly made omelettes and fruit and coffee and tea and pastries. Would highly recommend this hotel. Spa experience is a musr do. Private spa experience. Outstanding

Breakfast is advertised as a Continental Breakfast but it was better than that . Staff very friendly and attentive. The Hotel is an a very good location for all of the main attractions. Vatican which is probably the furthest away is a 20/30minute walk but the Metro is a 5 minute walk if you want to take that as an option. Rooms are really nice with sizeable bathroom with excellent shower.

In breakfast, the staff were mostly good, but the room itself what chaotic. There was one older gentleman who we found hilarious as he wandered around, moodily, doing nothing, whilst the other staff were rushed off their feet. The main issue needing sorting out was the additional £150 to use the spa... whilst this was a shock, when I then discussed it, and saw the spa, I was happy to pay. It was amazing in the end, but a shock on arrival that it was so much extra.
The room was lovely, with some great bits of technology throughout, and an authentic old lift that I'd never seen before. The spa experience was INCREDIBLE. It is not sold enough on their website or Booking.com, but it was the best spa experience I've ever had. The staff we also (mostly) excellent - mention of Sarah and Nick who helped a lot.

That we couldn’t stay another day!!!!
The hotel is amazing, very clean, very friendly staff, the room itself was lovely, very tidy and comfortable. Me and my girlfriend was very pleased with the hotel all round. If you get the chance definitely book the spa! We had an evening session and it was complete bliss. Great location too everything we wanted to see was with in a decent walking time and a great great restaurant called, “Thats amore” right opposite hotel and it’s amazing! 10/10 stay at the one boutique and will definitely be back. Thanks to Sara for sorting things, CIAO 😊

One day the room was not cleaned. Shower gel was finished and not filled. The water in the sink didn't drain well.
Modern room. Great location. Helpful personal on the reception. Fine breakfast.

Amazing location only a few minutes to the Trevi fountain, the bed was soooo comfy and the whole place was spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good especially the croissants

Rooms are a little small but at a good price and comfy. Not much sound insulation to other rooms though.
Very well located not far from the Fontana di Trevi.

every morning at around 8 o'clock you can hear the cleaner cleaning the other rooms and she has a walkie-talkie that works very loudly and can be heard in the room :( .Some of the floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked and moving.The window glass in the room was also cracked :/

Room very small when you leave the room everything shuts down so no AC very hot at your return housekeeping very nice but they talk very loud in the morning so get up early But all the rest is perfect
Well situated bed comfortable big shower 2 minutes from fontaine de trevi and lots of good restorants you can do everything by foot
