Nothing really stood as an issue - we did have a bit of attitude with the waiter at dinner, but honestly, some of it could have been on account of the "rude Americans" in our group. Truthfully, I was embarrassed by our "rude American" relatives! So not real issues. The bartender made excellent drinks for us to take to the terrace and see the twinking lights at night.

This is our second stay at this property and we love the quaint quiet walled village it sits. The view from the various balconies of Assisi in the distance with the lights is just magical. Eight of us had dinner here, which was simply fantastic and the breakfast was incredibly satisfactory as well. So if you are looking to stay in a walled village, this is a place to stay!

we had no hot water the first two days but the hotel did a great job to fix it our room neighbour left their dog in the hotel room and it barked all day. the hotel apologised and it wasn’t their fault but it was very disruptive. there was a festival when we stayed but we didn’t know anything about it until the music didn’t stop until 23.30. it’s a one off but a polite notice to each room would have been welcomed. the staff seemed very busy all the time. they worked very hard. maybe they needed more staff. we had to wait a long time each morning for the breakfast buffet to be refilled and I always felt bad if I had to ask the staff for anything. they didn’t seem very happy but I think they were just busy as the hotel was full. breakfast was hit and miss depending what time you arrived. All the basics were covered. I’d have liked more fresh fruit but we struggled to find any good breakfast in Italy unless you love sweet pastries

Beautiful medieval tiny town perched up on a hill. We were there on a monday in October so everything was closed but we had an amazing dinner in the hotel's restaurant. Amazing food, service and views in an atmospheric setting. We were given a large supercomfy room with a huge bed. 100% recommended!

The double bed was made with 2 single ones attached together, during the night the 2 divided and you could fell into the void. Very uncomfortable. Room was not very clean, we found a dead bug hidden behind the curtains. Staff was very welcoming, particularly waiters serving breakfast and at the restaurant. Breakfast, however was very poor compared to the prize we paid for it. Not a 4 stars hotel, you expect so much more if you are paying for that.

The bathroom was very outdated and dirty at our arrival. We also had a broken shower head and a broken toilet seat that pinched our butt. Occasionally also had a cold shower. Airconditioning was severely insufficient - keeping the windows open proved to be more effective.

Amazing location with a view across all of Umbria! Also a nice breakfast and friendly personnel. Hotel is situated in a picturesque, old style, Italian house.
