Not much. Slight issue with the electricity going off unexpectedly but actually the owners sorted it pretty quickly.

We had two two bedroom self catered apartments on the same floor for a party of 9. From the photos, we thought it would all be dated and maybe small, but it was far far better. The apartments were spotless, spacious, had everything we needed, in the bigger one there was a lovely big table we could all have breakfast together around. The shower in the apartment with the big table has clearly been recently refurbished and is excellent. The second apartment has slightly less good showers but was in every other way great. Also the availability of ski lockers and a warm space for ski boots was excellent. Finally, the cleaners were great, came every day and did a very good job. We had to book this at short notice so weren't sure what to expect, but it was really an excellent place to stay and we'd love to come again.

Residence Castelli is well situated for the ski lifts in Cervinia. Our apartment suited the needs of the five of us - three adults and two children.

Unfortunately my room was to the front, by the road, and snow machines working at 4.30 a.m was a bit of a nuisance. Otherwise all good.

Excellent location beside Supermarket, very friendly hosts who were happy to help. Spectacular views from the window.

It is a bit of a slog from this location to the nearest lift first thing, but there are lockers nearer the lifts which can be rented and we did so for the last three days.

    Snow conditions were good.

Everything is so outdated. And the extra beds are truly uncomfortable.

Good location for sightseeing in Cervinia. However I wouldn’t stay at this hotel for my skiing holiday since it’s too far from the ski lifts.

Since I'm allergic to dogs and cats, the hotel is a bit too dog-friendly for me.

Very central location - close to the ski lift, bus station and shopping. The small kitchen works fine for making breakfast, complete with fridge, microwave and dishwasher.

Apartment was a little dated (which was fine) but some of the ergonomics needed attention. Like a shelf above the bed at a height I banged my head everytime Inlaid back. No light above the cooker and workspace. Honestly, those two items and the difficulty getting between the bubble lift in Cervina and the centre of town, I had to walk a km a 3 times because I missed the bubble lift which closed at 3.20pm we're my only complaints of the entire week.

I was self catering, the breakfasts and dinners were fantastic :-)

Room was quite dark, so better lighting would be nice. Cooker hood didn't work at all. Kitchen sink was loose and moved around. These are little things that could be easily fixed. An oven would be a bonus. On the whole a nice place but needs a little TLC.

Very friendly, helpful people. Comfortable bed. Quiet location. Would stay again.

    1. It was not possible to dry wet cloth in the apartment (No32) as the radiators used to be cold (they were hot shortly only in the beginning); I do not know where else the heating comes from, but the radiators in the rooms and in the shower room (!) were cold, so the towels would remain semi dry. I asked the landlord to heat up the radiators so we could dry our wet cloth, but the landlord replied his monitors indicate the temperature in the rooms is 22,5 C, so this should be enough, whilst we could bring our cloth to ski boot room (heated) in the cellar to dry them there. I could understand bringing down to the cellar your gloves and similar, but what, to carry there your shirts, pants, underwear (?!) and even towels !!? Well, this is the first time in my 25 year alpine skiing that I got such a proposal. By the way, the temperature used to be 20-21 C in our rooms (acc. to. my smartwatch), which did not help drying. It seems this man does not fully understand the needs of his clients-skiers ( the cloth may not necessarily should be put ON the radiator, but be kept BY the radiator, as it seems that was the main worry of the landlord- to prevent cloth be put on the rad.). 2. The shower room and the cabin are extremely tiny. Moreover, there are only two hangers there, so you cannot hang up all the towels to dry (and there is hardly a place where to put them there), whilst forget about hanging up your cloth there. 3. Dish washing machine did not operate properly, so it was difficult to start it up.

Location (approx. 7 min walking to the lifts); each day cleaning; nice cafes just in front of the hotel.

Perhaps an opportunity would be to sell a few coffees and pastries in the morning or early afternoon.

Room 34 is a genuine old style Italian alpine delight. A cosy wood panelled room with good storage and an unexpected mini kitchen , seating area and small shower room. The property is full of genuine antique features- check out the embroided wall covering on the first floor by the lift. The staff are lovely and the owners charming. The roaring wood fire a delight to sit next to after a day in the mountains.

The communal areas were dated and could use some updating. There was also a lack of kitchen trays for the oven. The tv didn’t work properly . It would be good to have some blinds in the bathroom.

Our apartment was really comfortable and clean. The views were amazing. The apartment was cleaned and tidied every day. Towels were clean and good quality.
