The room could be a little bit more clean. On the website it seems like the hot tub is included in the price of the room but an extra (and expensive) fee is required to use it.

The view from the balcony is perfect! The kitchen is very good and equipped properly. The host is very nice and helped us with everything we needed.

I loved everything about it.

The property had the most amazing views of the lake and the location was just perfect for us as the hustle and bustle of the main towns isn’t what we were looking for. We had the pleasure of spotting deer, boar & other animals from our balcony which was a highlight for my son. Honestly the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. Just perfect

Unfortunately the walls were very thin so we were able to hear noises from other rooms around us. It is nice that the property has a garage, however it was very difficult to park the car, maybe they could warn guests not to come with a big car.

I asked for an early check in on the day of our arrival and it was approved very quickly. The room had a spectacular view to the lake and mountains. I also liked the welcome messages sent by our host, they were very helpful.

The apt is an amazing location with incredible views and amazing space with two bedroom upstairs and full kitchen. We loved it. The only catch is it on top of a hill so without a car (you need a small car) it will be hard to reach but this small price to pay for a place like this because it is location on top a hill which gives you the amazing view and the host was very very responsive and helpful which makes a huge difference. All in all amazing property !!!

Slightly hard to locate in at night.

1) firstly the host was amazing. Anything we needed, it was done immediately. 2) the apartment had everything we needed, cooking pots, microwave, dishwasher, cups, oven etc. oh it has Netflix, Amazon etc. 3) the view! Wow. Spectacular. Like no other. 4) very clean and tidy. 5) you need a car to go up the hill but apart from that. 6) did have swimming and suna but wasn’t cold enough. 7) felt very safe. 8) had parking too. Cannot recommend this enough especially if you have little kids like us.

The location is a bit remote, with most of the good restaurants being in the next village or much further down.

The swim and jacuzzi was on different floors than our flat. Also you can hear your neighbours since the walls are not noise insulated.

Most my negatives are out of the host control. The hill up to the property was very tough. We are young, fit people and we really struggled to get our luggage up there. The hill also refrained us from wanting to walk up it more than once a day so it determined a lot of our planning as we didn't want to come back and go back out again. If you struggle with fitness, walking etc I would recommend a car which is a shame because it's not needed for the rest of the trip. If the property offered a shuttle for the luggage up the hill when we arrived that would have been a massive benefit for us. It is difficult to get supplies too as you have to carry them up the hill. You also need to get a train to supermarkets so can't pop out easily. Public transport stops quite early so you will have to be back to Dorio by 9pm. Taxi's are extortionate in price (56-80EUR for a 10 minute journey). We got a quote from two taxi companies the hosts gave us the number for and there was a huge 30EUR difference which was odd. One night we got stuck without food as we planned on getting pizza at the local restaurant but it was closed so we had no option other than to order a pizza as there was no transport running. Great idea to offer a Pizza takeaway but unfortunately the food was horrendous. Considering we were in Italy and I am really not picky about Pizza, it was the worst I have ever had and was very expensive. The crust was like cardboard. Pool had cleaning equipment in it sometimes in the morning when we wanted to swim and weren't sure if we'd be allowed in

The view was incredible from both the balcony and the pool. The apartment was equipped with everything we could need and has plenty of room for the 4 of us. The hosts were amazing. Replied very quickly and offered great service. The local restaurant in the village was lovely with great staff and good food/drink - this was a life saver as the only option for drinks later in the evening (from 9pm), although not open every day. The pool was lovely and we mostly had it to ourselves which was an added bonus. Although Dorio is slightly outside, it is easy to get around to the main towns via train and ferry. There are trains every hour which run up and down the lake. The village or Dorio itself is also very nice and I would recommend walking below the train line along the lake (took us a few days to find)

Up a steep hill - very walkable with our backpacks but may be a struggle for anyone with more luggage!

Fantastic location with a beautiful balcony and pool view, the host was also very responsive and friendly. Easy train links for getting around the lake - we would recommend to anyone wanting to explore the area.
