Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Saudi ArabiaThe old lady who stays there was not happy that we arrived late (11pm), our flight was late so it was out of our control, she started yelling at us in Italian instead of just handing us the keys to the room, although we already informed them that we will be arriving late.
It is located directly on the lake, with direct access. It has Air conditioner, clean bathroom, and in general a good room.

United KingdomNearest shops in Colico, over 30 minutes each way on foot. Noise from bar late in evening. Cafe was open on days we were there but closed at short notice for following three days.
Well equipped, spacious apartment. On campsite with its own access to lake shore. Cafe with croissants for breakfast and good evening meals. Several other restaurants nearby Easy walk to Piona railway station (but trains there are infrequent).

it’s on a camp site but with 2star hotel rooms that beats the pants off some of the 2 star places around lake Como; at half the price. On the lake with a bistro and friendly staff. our room was squeaky clean. reasonable Wi-Fi . 3 minutes by train to Colico. on a lagoon with full sunshine all day

Friendly staff, near the beach. The Piona train station is also 450 meters away. It was easy and cheap to get to the ferry using the train! We also visited a vineyard nearby (booked it on Airbnb).Therefore, the location was perfect for us.

We loved our stay in the Green village. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. We had electric bikes that needed charging overnight, they went out of their way to facilitate us. We enjoy swimming and it was great being a short walk from the lake. The room is very clean and comfortable. It is not a large room but suited us perfectly, and great for the price. The food was tasty and good value. I would highly recommend stay at the Green Village. There is a lovely country lane into Colico, great for a cycle. We really liked this area of Lake Como, very relaxed and not too busy, away from the busy touristy area and very picturesque.

United KingdomThe site advertised a restaurant and bar. Neither of which was open because we arrived mid-week. However when we complained we were provided with a fitted kitchen so we could cook meals and make ourselves a drink. Even if the bar had been open though we would have expected that a kettle and cups would be provided in the room.
