How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The breakfast options should be more and the toilet seat should be fixed because it moves every time when I sit
Location is amazing, not so far from the lake. The room is renovated so everything is new and clean!

No downside to this hotel.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a good standard.

Regular breakfast. Continental breakfast is poor in vegetable and local food like mozzarella, salad, parmezan, tomatoes etc.
Nice city, great location of the hotel, very close to Garda lake. Inside looks as 4**** (I compare it to other 5* hotel just visited).

In the room there were no cups, which would be nice to have.
The place is a little bit further away from the centre, it is about 5 min with a car, also there is a bus which takes you to the city centre.

Everything was great!
Great location, close to Lake Garda. Very clean rooms. Delicious and rich breakfast. Responsive and friendly staff. Definitely recommend staying here!

Hotel parking is quite small, but there is a lot of free parking places on the street next to the hotel (but it's still your risk if you'll find one, hotel do not guarantee parking place). Room was quite old and definitely require renovation.
Very good breakfast. Safe and nice neighborhood. Various facilities (bike rental, pool, etc.) available in the hotel.

Very thin walls between our room and the one next to us. Very loud and noisy neighbours kept us up during the night and very very early in the morning too!

Although it was clean, the building felt as though it needed a lick of paint and an alternative to fencing things off with red and white striped tape, I know this must be temporary but its not the most inviting thing to see when going up to your room. You need to get a bus to the old town of Sirmione however this wasn’t too much of an issue as upon arrival you are given a map and shown where the bus stop is/ where to park if you have a car. The breakfast is pretty basic.
We had a lovely time staying here, the rooms were clean and it was nice to have a big pool with lots of sun loungers. The staff, especially upon our welcoming, were very nice and it was in good walking distance from a few restaurants and the lake. Overall good value for money.

When we were checking out we had a small issue with the bill (some things were added to the room, that were not ordered by us), but it was quickly fixed and we paid for everything that we had ordered.
The room that we stayed in was renovated and clean. It was in a good location and not far from the city and the lake. The staff was very friendly with us. We stayed in the hotel after the storm has done some damage to it and during our stay they were already doing the repairs.

The room for family of 2 add + 2 children 9 and 11, was good, but the double bad was a little bit narrow.. The breakfast is good, but could be improved with some additional offers, suvh as more salami or ham, or different kinds of cheese..
The hotel is on a very good location, only 5min by car from the main parking of Sirmione downtown. There is a lovely swimming pool, large and very clean, with a nice and cheap bar, so we enjoyed it really. !

Hotel is a bit worn down. The rooms and other facilities could be renewed and would feel better. We upgraded to a better / renewed room which was okay-ish. But I dont think its a good value for money.
Location was fine for us because we needed it just for a night's stay and a swim in Garda lake.

Nothing in particular.
Location was perfect, quite, next to the Lake and few minutes away from Centre of Sirmione from where you can get Ferry to any of the places on lake Garda. Comfortable rooms, working kitchen, amazing pool for kids. Everything was super good. To top it all, free parking outside the hotel.

The bed was not really comfortable. Also there could be some way to darken the room to ease sleeping.
Good location really near the lake, nice pool and friendly staff. They also said that we are still welcome to spend time at the pool after check-out. Good experience.
