We arrived after 21.00, but Nunzia was waiting for us with key, all kinds of informations, map, bottle of water, etc. We appreciate much her kindness. The location of accommodation is very good, market in the nearby street and Palermo is full of historical momunents, buildings, churches - it is amazing!

There is a fishy smell (because of the market?). Maybe it is normal living there. The microwave seems not working. The heater for bath only lasted for 10 mins, then needed to shut off then turned it on. I feel the facility is old.

It is clean, location is great to historical sight seeings. There is a supermarket outside the building. The owner couple are very kind to meet me at the Corner of the street when I can’t find the building.

This is the place if you want to experience the real cultural Sicily, with the noisy ,bustling market on the street below [dont worry, great soundproofing balcony windows]. The charming hostess gave me a detailed advisory of places i had to visit. The apartment was nice and cosy and very well equipped. Anything you might need to shop for is only a short walk away. I loved Palermo in general,

The size of the room was perfect, small and compact - great for those who came to Palermo for sightseeing and spending time outside. For those who preferred to cook by themselves, kitched was prepared with all tools needed. Shower cabin was a bit tight, but perfectly clean. For those who have trouble getting stairs there is a lift.

Great 1bedroom apartment right in market area so location was excellent however was very noisy Friday night. Small price to pay though for being in the heart of the market where you just stepped out and had delicious food to chose from.

The location above Il Capo market was unbeatable. Very close to via Roma & quattro canti too, which was really handy. The apartment was very well equipped, and having a balcony was a huge bonus.

The location was excellent, everything easily reachable on foot, all the principal sights and visits, the shopping areas and the main areas for eating out and street food. The train station is about 1/2 hour walking or a sort bus trip for visits outside Palermo. The street markets are vibrant and noisy but tend to be overpriced. The narrow back streets are all around and offer a glimpse of a different life. The apartment was charming and we were very comfortable for a 10 day stay.

The apartment was lovely with everything needed to have a comfortable stay. It is in a brilliant location. The owners are a lovely couple that were extremely helpful and had a great knowledge of Palermo and all the sites to visit. We would definitely stay there again.

The sounds of the market are easy to shut out. Obviously, there are also smells, mostly OK but the cafe across the road starts up its frier early in the morning and by 8:30 we would need to shut the windows and air the apartment from the rear. Not a reason to dislike the apartment or its location - but worth knowing in advance!

The location is perfect. Thge market below is a hive of activity from dawn to dusk - but close the excellent double glazed windows and doors and all noise is shut out. The apartment is clean and modern with everything you need. The hostrs are welcoming and helpful. In our opinion, the best food in Palermo is on your dorstep, in the cafe's and restaurants below the apartment. Il Capo is the most traditional, authentic and appealing of all Palermo's markets.

A Very slight negative. Only one sofa chair in living room... But 4 good chair's around table.

Nancy and John we're extremely helpful. The location is amazing if a bit noisy..But this is in a central location over a working local market the food was superb and the local people so helpful and friendly. Close to local bus stop...direct buses to railway station. Everything was within walking distance. Thank you for an experience we will never forget..

Information about how to get to the beach. Also how the buses connected. A plan of bus routes would have been beneficial. A lighter for the gas cooker would have been useful- we had to buy one. Also- a plug for the kitchen sink would have been good.
