My double bed was two single beds pushed together which was slightly uncomfortable and I struggled to sleep. This was a pretty minor factor in an otherwise lovely traditional place to stay.

Amazing location right in the centre of Taormina just outside the Porta Messina. Easy checkin and friendly staff. Loved the pool and the hot tub. Nice and quiet sitting by the pool. Quiet at night. Good information provided in a book in the apartment. Very clean and tidy.

Everything was nice. Maybe it could have been a bit cheaper. Also checkout was at 10am and when the time came we wanted to leave at 9am but the lady (for some reason) didn’t let us leave until around 10am. We couldn’t understand the reason but we went for a walk and then came back and left.

Very nice property with spacious rooms and views! Pool and hot tub, orange trees and parking €20/day, but highly recommend because parking in Taormina can be insane. The staff were also very nice and helpful although they didn’t speak English even though the reservation said to add comments in Italian or English so we thought they spoke English! Haha

The staff were very professional with good customer skills and good manners. Barbara from the reception was an angel, very helpful and caring for guests.As the rain occurred,she had offered us an umbrella.The checkout was at 10 am.However, we were able to leave the luggage till evening The facility ,one bedroom apartment was spotless. The apartment was fully equipped with all good what we needed. Like plates,glasses, tops,even wine opener. In the garden is a swimming pool and heated jacuzzi. Highly recommend place in the centrum of Taormona.

Lovely accomodation. Right in the centre, close to restaurants and shops. Easy to get to the cabel car for beach.

The pool was not heated (maybe because it was off-season).

The location is 5 minutes away from the city center with access to landmarks, shops, restaurants, and pubs. The hot tub was a very nice place after a full day of walk. The parking is situated in the basement of one of the buildings with steep access and requires some driving skills to exit, but is a great facility having in view the scarcity of parking spaces in that area.

The room needs a little "rejuvenation" 🙂.

The residence is in a old building just outside Porta Messina, in an excellent location. A lot of bars and restaurants near, also the Funivia (the cable car that takes you to the beach area) is 3 minutes away. The apartment was clean, the bathroom was good. We had a good sleep. Nice pool and jacuzzi (we didn't use them, but they looked nice).

The pillow wasn’t very comfortable.

Great location and lovely balcony! We requested a kettle and were provided with one. Big fridge and enough cooking equipment for us. Good shower and hairdryer. The room also had blinds which were great for sleeping. The pool was open in October. We enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Nothing negative to add here, really was an exceptional stay.

Had the best experience at Villa il Glicine. On arrival, the apartment was clean and well-appointed, and the owners were extremely helpful in every way (they handled a medical issue for us so that we saw a doctor nearby within an hour with zero fuss). The villa is extremely well-located, only moments from the main street and a short stroll to the cableway to take you down to the lovely local beaches. There's a bar next door, a bakery next to that and several restaurants and pizza places right across the street. Saying that, it's just secluded enough to feel like an oasis of calm in the busy town centre. We made good use of the pool and jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing after a hard day on the beach or sightseeing. Even on a cloudy day, there's a lot to see and do in town and nearby. All in all, we had an excellent time and would highly recommend making this a base for your stay in the beautiful town of Taormina.

The room was located on the ground floor with no view. The sewage system was very noisy and the walls separating rooms was very thin so we could hear the neighbours speaking by the phone.

The location was perfect, walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants and sights and located just down the street from the entrance to Corso Umberto. The main bus station and the cable car down to Isola Bella are within 5-10 min walk.

On the whole it is a bit old especially the kitchen, otherwise very convenient.

Prime location if you are staying in Taormina. The apartment is of a good size and very well equipped. It is clean.

The location is unbeatable! Just a short walk to Taormina old city and the cable car. The apartment was very spacious for 4 people, clean and the ladies in the reception smiling and very helpful! The view from our apartment was amazing.The parking was a big advantage.

Nothing major: the shower cubicle requires some maintenance or could be changed. It would be appreciated if the Washing up liquid was provided.

Location, the size of the apartment, the curtesy of the personnel who promptly answered any time there was a need ( I asked for a iron and they efficiently responded to the request).

Checkin staff (Peter) had ok English but the checkout staff in the morning spoke no English. No biggy as everything was fine.

Friendly staff, clean room & good facilities. Really close to the Old Town gate so easy walking to get everywhere
