The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating, they make you feel like family. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious and the sitting area is lovely. Great location. We really enjoyed our stay, I highly recommend staying at this property.

No elevator. We're old and busted and all the rooms are up a flight or more. They made sure we had the most accessible, though. We realize there is nothing they can do about it, but...

It was so wonderful I didn’t want to leave.

We booked less than 2 hours before we would arrive due to our last minute plans. Showed up near 5 pm and were greeted with a very bubbly, happy hostess. Very welcoming. Helped us unload the car then got in the car with my husband to take him to a place to park the car. The room was absolutely perfect and clean. The views were amazing of the street in the center of town and the beautiful sea. Her breakfast spread was over the top. I would like to give it more than 5 stars.

Our stay in Residenza Donna Giovanna was exceptional! Amazing hosts - super friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast option on terrace. The room and bathroom were exactly like in the photos, cleaned every day. There was even an option to borrow a beach umbrella. The place is located next to one of the main roads, it might be a bit noisy at night, but the windows are sound-proof. The location is excellent, close to shops, restaurants, beach or a panoramic terrace where you can admire Santuario di Santa Maria dell'Isola di Tropea.

There’s a lot of stairs to the top floor but the view is worth it.

Gorgeous little property in a perfect location. We had a balcony view and it is the most beautiful village. We liked it better than Polignano a Mare.

We Liked everything about Donna Giovanna Residenza! The location was perfectly Situated in the middle in the quaint of Tropea. An easy 800 m walk down hill from the train station We did not mind since the train ride to over five hours! The owners were happy to give us a ride back for departure. The Residenza is a family run business that make it their priority to make sure you have everything you need with a smile. The owner Limo was very accommodating as well as her son Emilio and his beautiful girlfriend, Ariana. The breakfast was prepared with loving hands, and presented in a very appetizing manner. There was nothing that was missing.

The staff was exceptional. I would typically say they went out of their way to make us feel at home but, in reality, this is who they are. They were always pleasant, genuinely warm, and helpful with great suggestions. Lena is the Italian mother you would want to take home with you!

Excellent, staff were welcoming & attentive. Rooms were clean and spacious, soundproofing, air conditioned. Breakfast had variety of homemade cakes, pastries, coffee and juices. Very close to restaurants, shops & beach a stroll away.. Definitely returning!

Everything was great. Clean, close to the beach, close to good restaurants and shopping, good wi fi. The hosts and staff were friendly and went out out of their way to be helpful. Always available to answer any questions we had. The breakfast was a nice addition. Provided us with beach towels and umbrella. Would definitely return. Highly recommend.

The property has the best location in Tropea. The rooms are great and everything looks brand new. It exceeded all my expectacions. Lena and Emilio are the best. They made my stay in Tropea wonderful !!!

Awesome location right in town, private parking available for €15 per night. Facility was perfectly presented and clean. Host was very helpful and always available. Especially as we checked in quite late Included breakfast was delicious.

Fantastic stay at this beautiful B&B! The location is outstanding, the place is absolutely spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable (we slept amazingly well), the a/c is excellent and the breakfast terrace is just gorgeous. Emilio, his mother and the housekeeper were all so kind and friendly. Emilio speaks English and was so chatty and helpful and relaxed. Tropea is a marvel and we would love to go back for a longer stay!

Emilio and his mother run a flawless place in Tropea. The room was spotless and the breakfast was fresh. The Hotel is situated in the heart of Tropea with access to everything (Beach, Restaurants, Shops) within minutes. Emilio answered and all of our needs in a timely basis and always went the extra step to ensure our needs were met.
