Getting the luggage from the parking garage to the hotel up stairs and a hill, then going up four flights of steps to get to the room.

The two-bedroom suite with a bathroom provided us with some privacy and were very nice. We didn't use the common areas, but did spend time on the top floor patio...... which had magnificent views!

Located in the Historic City Center of Montepulciano, the rooms are located on the upper floors of a beautiful, historic building. (You do have to climb a decent amount of stairs, which is pretty common if staying in older properties located in the hill towns of Tuscany). We stayed in the red room. It was a nice size and had amazing views of the town and countryside! The property offers access to a beautiful rooftop patio with stunning views, and for breakfast you can choose from 2 different restaurants. We enjoyed both of them. Because you are inside the old town, they offer reserved parking for 10 euros per day which is a good deal. All communications were done through WhatsApp, and it worked very well. It was nice to stay right in the middle of old Montepulciano. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Breakfast was not in the property (as expected), but in a local cafe, which was okay. The dining and sitting room were not a used area. There were also some unsafe staircases to get to our room. The "deluxe spa" in our room was disappointing. The plug didn't seal.

The property is in an excellent location, and the room itself and the rooftop were both lovely. Amazing views.

We had absolutely no control of the heating and it happened to cold. Parking was not to far from the place, but it happened that the day we arrived it was pouring and cold, and we had to walk under the rain.

Location was very good. We liked the setting of an old house, furniture, pictures, etc. It has a great roof terrace with fantastic views of the city and country side. The vouchers for the breakfast included were at two of the most prestigious and traditional cafés.

The shower head is too low and the head holder is loose.

The location is very nice. The view from the dining room, bathroom, bedroom, and rooftop deck is fantastic, especially for watching the sunrise. The host was very kind and provided a detailed parking and house location video. The place is also very quiet. Breakfast was included, which is also a good plus.

We didn’t have the air condition remote and when we asked for it the host told us they control the weather (?). The red suite was really nice but you have to get 4 floors with your luggage without a lift.

Although the apartment building is old, it could use a little more maintenance. Heating wasn't working, but it was fixed after a few hours.

Staircase to top floor was tricky with luggage. Top floor bathroom (Rosa) and bottom floor (Verde) could do with some updating.

Amazing view from the top bedroom (Rosa Room). For a special evening, schedule a stay in Rosa Room on a full moon with clear weather. Location is perfect. Charming and historic.

The only thing I did not like was the stairs getting up to the hotel. Sometimes the door at the bottom would be left open, and not a lot of lights so it would be dark leaving us a tad nervous coming up the stairs at dark.

The privacy in the room, cleanliness and very spacious. The location of the hotel was great as well. The breakfast was very good and fun as well.

The wind howled through window seams at night and made so much noise it was difficult to sleep. Our ear plugs helped a little, I learned in the morning I could open the window and in 1 bedroom the noise stopped. The bathroom continued to be noisy until the wind died down.

A very nice building and antique large roomy place. The location was good and the sweet coffee/breakfast at a nearby restaurant was good as it had a view and we ate outside. Good hot shower with good water pressure.

Great spot in the centre of town , in an old building and decorated in an appropriate style. The owner was really helpful and if you follow the directions given both the parking and apartment are easy to find

Shower definitely needs a refresh ! Also, the mattress, on the double bed was uncomfortable, but it could be matter of preference.

Nice appartment, right in the historical centre. It really brings guests through the spacetime, to the history. And to see Montepulciano with the glass of wine in the hand, from the terrace on the rooftop of the appartment, by the full moon, what else can you wish ?

Central location in stunning Montepulciano. Host very quick to reply via WhatsApp with recommendations, tips for parking, etc. We loved staying in this historic building. Felt like staying at a relatives apartment- the rooms and furniture appear to be original with their own character (but very well maintained and clean). The rooftop has gorgeous views with an area to sit and enjoy this stunning area. The host recommended Cafe Poliziano- this is the epitome of my Italian cafe dreams- highly recommend.

Parking is kind of difficult to figure out. FYI, there is no shower head. You have to take a bath or use the hand held sprayer to shower yourself.
