The plastic backing on the mattress protector was a little noisy, but certainly didn’t interfere with our night’s sleep.

Tonio the host was fantastic in every way; directions prior to arrival, free parking, room orientation and free water, juices, snacks and daily sightseeing suggestions. The room was spotless and showed so much attention to detail (eg evenly spaced coat hangers) and no shortage of soaps and shower products. Our little terrace was so cute and perfect for our morning snacks and an evening drink. Very peaceful area at night. Ten minute walk to downtown and all the beautiful buildings and restaurants in Matera. Every detail was as advertised only better. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and a visit to Matera, it’s stunning!

Amazing facilities with even more amazing host. He provided us with very usful information for Matera (sighseeings, restaurants etc). The rooms are few steps away from the Sassi, there is a inside garage close to the place in case you have a car to take care of

Everything in this flat is on the floor. It would be good to have a luggage rack & a toilet roll holder on the wall & a shelf in the shower for the body soap and shower gel. The balcony is a nice idea…but there is a little construction work going on across the street at the moment.

Brilliant host.Likes to use WhatsApp and his responses were so helpful and quick Like a museum…many works of art in the lobby. The location is wonderful.If you stay here you are able to navigate ordinary streets…where as in Sassi you have to deal with the ancient cobbled stones. Lots of bottles of water and juice in the small room fridge & a great coffee machine.Great amenities & the ever-changing colours in the walk-in shower was like a show.

Location was perfect to walk less than 3 minutes into Matera. Tonio was an excellent host and gave us suggestions to visit and where to eat. The beautiful goodie basket and plenty of water was a bonus. Plenty of metered parking for $8 euros a day. The free parking was always full. You can’t beat the location. Clean small room with modern fixtures.

This place was amazing. Excellent communication, the shower was awesome, the room nice and cool during another heatwave, the bed comfortable and the room large (much more than expected) and incredibly clean. The room was equipped with everything; coffee machine and coffees, many teas, kettle, plenty of body washes, coat hangers and soaps and many extra towels. It was a real treat - with the additional treat being a huge hamper on arrival that saw us through three breakfasts. The location is only a 5 minute walk into town and 5 minutes from the train - perfect. During the trip we received lots of suggestions and tips for what to see and do - this was a wonderful touch and the communication was always instant.

The location was few steps away from the center and there is a free parking in front of the residence. Tonio was a really welcoming, kind and super helpful host, he provided us: - names and phone numbers of restaurants/bars/pubs, - assisted us with walking tours informations via whatsapp, - helpful informations about the city attractions and places to visit. In the room we found a bag full of cookies, jams, nutella, croissants, and also a coffee machine with all the necessary things to prepare coffee, all of this was enough to have a big breakfast, fridge was stacked with water, drinks, juices, and a bottle of prosecco. Toiletries were more than enough. We loved the room, very clean with a fresh fragrance. Would absolutely come back.
