Nothing to not like but the advertising doesn’t mention that there is a reception area so Pasquale is around the morning and afternoon to facilitate checkin and checkout. We would have been less worried about parking and waiting etc if we had known ahead that he was onsite.

Location, location, location. Right on the edge of the old town of Tropea and 40 m to the Main Street. Fabulous roof terrace with views. Underground parking garage which in these old towns is fantastic. Pasquale is helpful and available in reception for most of the day and was able to recommend restaurants and things to do. Kitchen is small but you can self cater. Secure, electronic access to courtyard and apartment door. Tropea had a great atmosphere.

The apartment was fabulous. Spacious, spotless, and well equipped with everything you could need. Great location with parking provided , such a bonus. The upstairs deck is wonderful to sit and enjoy the view. Pasquale and Sami were wonderful. They are always on hand to assist and were so kind and helpful to us when we had a minor incident with our car. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay n this gorgeous town.

Odd place for the tv to be in the kitchen and not the bedroom but really why would you be watching tv when you have all the sights to see in Tropea

The host Pasquale was exceptional. From the initial communication before our arrival and on the day we Pasquale helped make our stay effortless. The residents are basically in the town with secure and tidy rooms. We had an allocated car space in a secure garage for our rental and a deck above our room so that we could eat breakfast with a view. Pasquale even helped us out with finding the best places to eat in Tropea. All in all I would definitely recommend staying at Residenza I Gioielli and thank you Pasquale

The bed is very firm yet is typical to Italy and we expected the extra firmness. Linens were fresh, clean and soft.

Breakfast was served at a local restaurant just steps away from the apartment. We were given a choice of morning meals and they served as late as 11:30am... which was very nice as there were times when we slept in. The staff at "Tomate" were kind and considerate, the meals were fresh, quickly served and delicious.

Pasquale was a great host. He communicated with us prior to our stay and met us upon our arrival. He pointed out places of interest and recommended good places to eat. Breakfast, via voucher was at a local cafe with a number of choices including croissants, yoghurts and eggs from friendly staff. The apartment was very spacious with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The location was fabulous, being just a short tuk tuk/ taxi ride or a 15 minute walk to the railway station and close to the beaches, shops and mini supermarkets. The apartment was very quiet and we particularly loved the shared upstairs balcony accessed via a spiral staircase. All staff including the cleaners and reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

Slight noise from the traffic coming up the hill into the town but really so minimal it didn't matter.

Location was great, 2-5 min walk to everything in town, 10 min walk to the beach. Lovely private courtyard and roof top terrace with a view. Private off street parking. Pasquale was a wonderful host, kind and accommodating with great recommendations. Planning to stay again and bring friends.

Only the crazy use on motorbikes riding up and down, especially in the night, it is extremely noisy.

Excellent central location for beach and walking in town. Can walk to the train station. Owner did a fantastic job renovating the units so that they were modern and well-equipped, but with old world charm. Love the rooftop terrace. Unit has a nice, useable kitchen. It's amazing to have access to a garage in this part of town (though be prepared for somewhat tricky maneuvering in and out). Owner Pasquale was very helpful and friendly. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Tropea for a reasonable price.

Apartment is in great location, you just step out of the door and you are on the main street with all the shops and restaurants. At the same time its quiet enough at night to get a good sleep. Very spacious. Pasquale is a great host available all the time, ready to help. We got a nice bottle of wine from him on our arrival. You can park your car in a private garage where there are 4 cars in total, one per each apartment. Wifi is not the fastest but its enough to chat and do some basic browsing. We would definitely stay again if back in Tropea.

Beds were hard as a rock. Pillows were terrible. Not really a bed and breakfast when you have to walk down to a packed out cafe and get 1 croissant and a coffee and either eat it standing or take it somewhere to finish.

Although we were travelling in off -season, we found the prices of the accommodations and food to be high. We had to walk to the town square for the included breakfast which consisted of a croissant and coffee.

We enjoyed our stay at Residenza I Gioielli for two nights at the end of November. Pasquale was very accommodating and easy to get ahold of when we needed assistance with the heat. We appreciated the gift of wine and secure parking that was offered. The apartment was clean, comfortable and secure.
