It is a wonderful place for a city break, very close to the train station and the ferryboat, just 5 minutes away. Close to Bellagio, Mengio and Varrena which are the most beautiful towns on Lake Como. Is a wonderful location, where the soul of the house is Lucia. A person who is happy with every person who enters her house. Everything is carefully decorated, with good taste, and with furniture of very good quality! The breakfast was varied and delicious

We really enjoyed a lot our staying here, the room was very nice, clean , very well equipped for our 11 month old baby, good breakfast , beautiful garden ; Lucia, the host, thought of every detail for making our stay as enjoyable as it can be, she is very kind and helpful person🙏 Also the location is great, it is very close to both train and ferry stations; It was a pity that we didn’t book all the vacation in this location. Thank you Lucia!

Beautiful clean B&B in the most perfect and scenic location. Our host Lucia was incredible, she made us feel right at home. I wish we stayed longer (!) I mentioned I was Gluten Free and to my surprise had an amazing platter of food prepared for me in the morning, I was so touched!

Would have liked a comfortable chair in room to sit and read in but it didn’t distract from our stay. The property is on a main road and can have a little traffic noise at the peak time and weekends but again did not affect our stay.

Lovely renovated small b&b. Close to station. Had enough of what we needed and if we asked (within reason) we could get anything that was not provided. Very lovely host, eager to please and make your stay as good as it could be. Would plan to stay again next visit to Mandello.

the location was perfect. but the host, Lucia, was the best I’ve ever had. she went out of her way everyday to make sure we knew where we were going. She gave us so many helpful tips for touring the other villages. Excellent dinner recommendations and even made the reservations for us. She even brought me medicine one night when I became sick and the pharmacy was already closed. I can’t say enough good things about Lucia!

Honestly, probably the best place I have been in a while. Everything is just perfect - super nice accommodation that looks even better in person, not only clean but with daily cleaning (!), superb breakfast, the kindest most attentive host (thank you, Lucia!), beautiful location... really everything. We would definitely want to come back. I can't recommend this enough. <3

Lucia was a remarkably nice and helpful host. Her home made baked goods were a rare treat. She readily accommodated our dietary needs without hesitation. We wanted to stay longer.

I liked everything about this accomodation. The house is beautiful with stunning garden. Very clean and comfy rooms, execellent breakfast. What we liked the most was our host, Lucia. Lovely person that brights up the room and she was so helpfull with detailes about transportation, locations and restaurants ( that were all top). Defenetly we will return here when we will visit lake Como next time.

Totally amazing place! Lucia is a great host - you can feel that she really enjoy having new guests. She gave us all important info and tips (where to eat, where to go for a trip etc.). The place itself is fabulous - garden and rooms. We've got a very nice, spacious apartment with everything you need + 2 balconies, quiet air condition and it has been cleaned very day. Breakfast was great. The last day we had to leave early in the morning and Lucia prepared for us breakfast to go - full package of sandwiches, cakes, fruits... Mandello is beautiful and it's a great place for a one-day trips around Como lake. If we have a chance to come back, we will do it:)

Lucia is a wondeful host! She told us about all possibilities around this place and gave a lot of information (restaurants, train time-table, places to visit). She was in touch in whats app and it was very comfortable. The room was even better than on photos, with two balconies and AC. The breakfast was very good too.

We absolutely loved our stay in this B&B! The host was the most adorable, she was always ready to help us and gave great tips regarding restaurants and things to see around lake Como. Our room was modern and clean and breakfast was super delicious. The location is excellent, only minutes walk from the train station. Airports, Milan and the villages surrounding Lake Como are therefore extremely accessible. I can highly recommend this accommodation!

We had an amazing stay! Lucia is a wonderful host and we felt very well cared for. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the whole residence is immaculate. Beds very comfortable and everything is very modern. Lucia was so helpful and we wished we had stayed longer.

Lucia is incredibly friendly host! Right away she suggested us some sight seeings which were very beautiful and must see in the region! She also suggested some very good restaurants in the city and always made a wonderful breakfast with the freshest ingredients! The room was very nice and clean!

Honestly, nothing at all! This b&b exceeded all expectations. If I am obliged to nit-pick, the wifi signal was not very strong in our upstairs room.

Everything, but most of all the host Lucia. We were helped by her enormously with our day planning. The breakfast is great with lots of homemade food. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and very clean.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Lucia's house. She was kind, sweet and caring making sure we are satisfied. She gave us good advices about the activities in the area. Also we could rent a bike for free, which was great. The lake is just 5min walk, train station 2min, parking at the property. The accomodation itself was perfect for us, spacious comfortable rooms, tasty breakfasts, nice seating outside. We recommend to all!

We had a lovely stay of 3 nights in the B&B of Lucia. She is the most welcoming and friendly host you can imagine. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are very comfortable. With small kids you can visit the other villages by train super easy and Lucia has plenty of recommendations to share !

Where to begin? We came here just for a few days to enjoy the beautiful lake Como. The B&B we stayed in was really beautiful and the surroundings were amazing..but what really made our stay wonderful, was Lucia. She is so kind and helpfully she really made us feel at home and she is more than deserving of this high rating!
