Absolutely everything. The stuff was amazing and so kind, the breakfast was full of amazing stuff (especially lidya’s orange cake) and the room was beyond our expectations. we will definitely come back next time we are there.

As it is an original building in the centre of Amalfi light sleepers may want to invest in ear plugs. But this would be a recommendation for any town in Italy.

Vincenzo, Lidia and the hotel staff are fantastic. Very friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any questions you may have. Furthermore, the location, rooms and facilities (incl. Breakfast) are top notch. By far one of the best places we have stayed during our trip through Italy.

The location is awsome and we were blessed with a suite on the corner withe street view balcony. Breakfast on the rooftop- terrazzo - was the cherry on the top of the cake. Vincenzo was a great host and, most of all a great friend, that helped me a lot to solve a personal issue, even after leaving the hotel. Thank you Vincenzo. I will not forget your gesture.

the property is situated in the very centre of Amalfi. the owner were super friendly, they waited for us as we did a road trip- parked the car for us in the parking close by because it was raining and they wanted to take good care. moreover they offered us the”pasione” suite which was excellent. everything was great! surely recommend it. it was very very clean, spacious, cozy, nice traditional decoration and the family super kind and friendly. finally, the breakfast at the terrace was sooooo nice!

Residence Luce is perfectly located in the historic centre of Amalfi. Do not hesitate to book this accommodation. We canceled our hotel in Praiano to stay in Luce for another 3 nights. You will not be disappointed: great service, friendly owner, amazing breakfast on the cosy terrace on the roof, nice decorated rooms, clean. And again: location within walking distance of beach, bus and ferries. Thank you very much Vincenzo, Gerardo and Lidia. Tip: do not hire a car on the Amalficoast. Bus and ferry transfers are perfectly organized.

Ideal location in the centre of Amalfi town. We booked the junior suite so had a balcony with a view of the square. Rooms were very clean with all the essentials (hairdryer,mini fridge, robes and slippers). Breakfast had a huuuge variety and freshly prepared everyday with fresh fruit/cakes etc! Staff couldn’t do enough for us! Very warm and friendly! Helped us plan our trips to ravello/Pompeii etc. and organised us a taxi back from Positano when we missed the last bus! Hope to visit the Amalfi coast in the future and would definitely stay here again!

The staff was outstanding, very helpful. Meeting us at the ferry and walking us directly to the property. Making dinner reservations most nights and daytime plans of beaches and trips to Ravello & Pompeii with a private transfer who waited for us while we toured Pompeii then took us to the Napoli train station. Perfect. The breakfast buffet was delicious!!! Huge variety and amount on a delightful patio. Steps away from the busy town square & beach. Lovely tiled accommodations. Again, they were so helpful & made our stay wonderful in Almalfi. Thank you!!!

The city seems to be alive all night, so it can be a bit loud at night, but with the windows closed, it is no problem.

The location, which is central and in a tremendous neighborhood and very close to the beach, just can’t get any better. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and smart. Vincenzo helps with everything you might need and his recommendations and suggestions are knowledgeable, helpful and competent. Gerardo , who is also very friendly, even gave me some complimentary Italian lessons and he was very good at it too! And I can’t say enough about Lydia: the sweetest lady, who is truly like a kind loving mother! The place is clean and the service is excellent: very nicely designed, dream-like balcony, excellent WiFi, very competent cleaning personnel and delicious breakfasts on the rooftop terrace. I am definitely going back any chance I get!

Absolutely nothing!

Great location, clean comfortable rooms, lovely breakfast etc etc etc! The real reason however why you should stay is because of the truly wonderful hosts starting with Vincenzo and his mom Lidia. All the staff here are great. The best advice, recommendations are always available. Go visit the beach club, Lido Degli Artisti! Ask the team to arrange it for you and then get 1st class hospitality because you stayed at Luce. We will return & only stay with this wonderful family 🤗 Great tip: Eat at L’abside restaurant, run by Vincenzos sister & brother, delicious food and nice service!

Exceptional property. Owner Vincenzo goes above and beyond to accommodate you with warm Italian hospitality combined with excellent English, perfect hospitality skills, and knowledge of tips and tricks around (real ones, not "touristy tips"). They will carefully valet park your car if you have one - highly recommended and much less hassle then using Luna Rossa garage unless you want to take you car very often, and cheaper too. Breakfast with magical lady on top of the terrace - warm, authentic and full of soul. Location is perfect - beach, bakery Andrea Pansa!! (just wow bakery), central Amalfi street, amazing restaurant just across and a few nearby too. Cannot be beat frankly. Very sweet two nights full of warm support, just like loving Italian family!
