We had some issues with cold showers, but to be fair, we didn’t notify Laura so it could be resolved. As it was so hot during our stay, it was also rather refreshing at times.

We had an amazing time with our family of 4. The perfect hideout to explore all the wonderful beaches in the (wide) area. Laura was the perfect host, offering all information needed so we could make this a holiday to never forget.

The town of Muravera was ok as a base but had little to offer other than a couple of nice restaurants. There are enough shops and cafes to get all that you need and the people were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful apartment and facilities all exceptionally clean and in good condition. We had a rear facing apt which while it didn't have the view of the front apts was still very pleasant and gave easy access to the solarium and pool area from which the views where great.

Easily accessible from the motorway. Laura was amazing and accommodated us with a very late check in and even helped us order pizza from a local restaurant. She also suggested fab beaches to visit nearby. The place was extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Laura made sure our car was safe and offered undercover parking.

We loved the location. We wanted to see cala Luna and other places near baunei but also wanted to be close by Cagliari. Muravera was the perfect location and Residenza Petrera the best accommodation. The pool was clean as so the appartement

The room was spacious and there was a really nice view from the terrace. We used the swimming pool every day! It was perfect during hot days. Laura gave us some tips for good restaurants nearby and was very helpful. The town was quiet. Nice beach is aprox. 10 minutes by car from the accomodation. I think that it is almost necessary to have a car. I would like to reccomend this place.

We were charged €30 for using the washing machine once! That felt like a sting at the end of a week staying there.

Nice, spacious apartment with good air con and lovely views. The pool is perfect for small children. The shutters on the windows allowed us to block out all light, which was good for sleeping. Lots of beaches just a short drive away.

It’s up a very steep hill, which normally wouldn’t bother me, but in the heat, it’s quite hard work!

Wifi was available but terribly slow. Notified the reception, so they can arrange someone to fix it. However, LTE works in the area well.

We had a very comfortable apartment on the third floor. It has everything you need for a one or two-week-long vacation, including a washing machine (bring your own caps), standard kitchen equipment, gas cooker. There was a double bed and a sofa. The bathroom had a rather small shower, toiletries and towels included. A large balcony offered a place where to have breakfast and dinner and a stunning view over the valley and nearby hills. The owner was super kind and communicative, available each day at the reception and via WhatsApp. Free parking is in a garage. Be aware that some parking skills are advisory :) There's a small pool and a sun deck, but we didn't use it. The location is a couple of minutes' walk from the center of the town, offering a couple of restaurants (check out Green Gallery) and a supermarket. 10 – 20 minutes by car to several nice beaches. Not being a touristic area, it's rather empty.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the Residence Petrera! The apartment was a very good size, we had a large patio, all amenities were top, and the highlight of the stay - a possibility to use the pool. Very clean place, very accommodating staff, absolutely recommended!

The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds we've ever found. To say "firm" is to be kind. We found two winter blankets stored in the apartment and used them to create a topper of sorts....once again making the bed with the bottom sheet over the blankets. This helped only a tiny bit. Not looking for perfection but the mattress was simply too hard for the average tourist and the one thing that might make us choose differently next time. Or bring a topper. There is a washing machine on the balcony. (and also a place to hang clothes with clothes pins provided - a positive). As many have stated they do charge to use the washer. You can pay 30 euro for the week or 5 euro per day. For us, only one load of laundry cleaned was enough. To do this we had to request that the manager come to unlock the washer. (There is a key lock on the power switch to the outlet) So, you have to wait a few minutes and invite the manager in to the apartment....then...when you are finished you are to notify her and she will come again to lock the unit. I could not relax knowing I had to report our status at the end. The manager is very kind but it's awkward. Be aware that you will need to provide your own dish soap, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels and dish sponge. They gave us about 2 tablespoons of dish liquid (for an 8 night stay) and a sponge that we thought had been used as it was curved and not in celophane. They also provided 2 rolls of toilet paper. One a different size and quality from the other. This is all to get you "started". But I can't help but think if you timed it right you would get a new bottle of dish soap and new sponge that would last the enitire stay. Why am I talking about all of this? Well, its different here in Italy. Some other condos want you to bring your own towels and sheets too. We were given one "set" of towels per person. It's 6 euro for a replacement set...

We liked the terrace with a table and a bit of a view of the distant sea. We liked the medium sized refrigerator that allowed us to freeze bottles of water to use for the beach. We liked the ability to use a utility sink on the balcony and that the air conditioning worked well. We also liked having a bit more room than a standard hotel room to spread out. Even with some mentions of things that we did not like, as written further in this review, we would stay again. I think with this facilty you have to know what to expect and you will be happy. We would happily stay again... as all but one of the negatives are outweighed by the positives. Mostly a quiet stay....which is great...but you will hear chairs overhead being scooted, children running and screaming at times. This is to be expected and would ultimately say this is a positve because some hotels have really thin walls. These were at least medium.

The balcony furniture was very light and was easily blown around in the wind. We had to move it every day and evening or it would blow across the balcony. Heavier or fixed furniture is needed. we couldn’t use the balcony without moving furniture around every time.

The views from the balcony were superb. Apartment was well equipped and pleasant decoration.
