Everything was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back again! The room had a private yard where they served our breakfast! The swimming pool and the Hot tub/Jacuzzi were just in front of the room. We were staying outside of the active season so we could relax and enjoy the tranquility. The hotel is situated near many wineries and is surrounded by vines! This is what we would call - la dolce vita!

Nothing special to report, everything was good, only a few things for little improvements. The shower was quite small, some finiture of the resort need to be fixed, it is an awesome place but we suggest to have more care in general of the place.

Nice place to stay, awesome breakfast every morning. The room had a perfect temperature, we do not need air conditioning. Bed very comfortable.

The hotel is wonderful. They had great service. The breakfast was delicious. Comfortable beds and lots of room. There are so many amenities. They are also helpful in getting us a prized wine tasting.

A tad larger of a bed for my husband.

The property was very well located for the wineries and restaurants. The room we rented was great as it had a private patio with table and chairs and additional seating area as well. The convenience of having breakfast supplied was an added bonus. The staff was lovely and very accommodating. A definite place to return in the future.

The room was a bit dusty, it wasn't clean properly, and the bed was really uncomfortable. I woke up the next day with back pain.

The staff were really kind. Breakfast was served in the room. Typical Italian breakfast with coffee and croissants. The room was huge with small kitchen but we didn't use. We were there for a night.

staff weren’t very helpful. air conditioning didn’t work well at all and then it was turned off completely for our last three days as it was autumn but still 25 degrees outside. no window in bedroom upstairs breakfast is not great. same thing everyday which is served to you wether you like something or don’t. your never asked if you’d like more tea or coffee and if we had to stay again I would opt to eat out for breakfast

The room was amazing but the AC didn’t work in the upstairs bedroom.

The property was incredible location for the local vineyards and Bolgheri town. The friendly welcome from the family and the first impression of the cleanliness of the kitchenette room booked. The pool was a refreshing delight and the recommendation for the wine tours and restaurants and the local area.

The set up in the bathroom is not ideal. There is no where to place the shampoo and soap in the shower area .

The family running the resort is very helpful and friendly. All their restaurants recommendation were spot on.

The room was a bit small, but ok for a family of 4 staying for 2 nights. The resort is pet friendly - so there were many guests with dogs, which was no problem for us, but might be for other guests.

We had a lovely stay at Il Casale Bolgherese. The location is great. In the middle of wineyards and close to many beautiful beaches. Breakfast was good and the staff was very nice.

It is not a dislike, but a warning - one can swim in the pool only with a cap, so if you don't take one with you, you will be offered to buy one from the reception.

The hosts were very nice - a family who was very friendly and were ready to explain everything for the area, give recommendations for all needed - from beaches, restaurants, even pharmacy! The room was very clean, just enough of what we needed. The surrounding views are great and the closeby village of Bolgheri is worth a visit for an evening and dinner.

Advertised as having air conditioning. The fact was that the air conditioning had been turned off ‘for the season’. A very hot and uncomfortable night with poor sleep. Advertised as having an electric kettle. Not one in our room nor in our friends’ room.

The facility was more like a dormatory than a resort. No elevator to the secondfloor, accessed by steep stairs outside the building.

The people were very nice and accommodating.

We arrived early October and it was still hot outside during the day (27 to 28 degrees) - our upstairs room was split level which meant that whilst the temperature was reasonable downstairs in the living room at night, it was very warm upstairs in the bedroom. The air conditioning was switched off by the hotel for the season and despite our request, was not turned on which resulted in very hot sleepless nights, and frankly is inexcusable. The fridge was also off (probably for the season too?) rendering the kitchen pretty much useless. Our sofa was also stained resulting in a tired look. This is a hotel for families during the summer (not really couples) and has seen better days. We could not wait to leave.

Teresa at the front desk is excellent and frankly wasted at this hotel. It also has a pretty good location with easy access by car or bike to several wineries and good restaurants.
