How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The location was good, the check in was smooth as the host Nicolò was incredible! Offering many suggestions for places to try and happy to answers any questions I had throughout my time in Rome.

No,everything is okay.
The hotel is near the Vatican City , and also near the metro with 500 meters.The service is very kind and thoughtful ，the boss wait for us although he is off duty. You only need to send message at booking or call him.

Our room was very clean and the host very friendly and to every time very helpful also with recommendations for good eating. The location is very close to Vatican and directly at a main bus station with a lot of eating possibilties around. A very, very good gelateria is direct aside! Perfect stay!!!

The property is very clean and room service provided everyday. Great location, 3 min walk to Vatican museum, and close to subway to get around. The area is lively and safe. Host is friendly and very prompt in responding. He provides us with a lot of tips and suggestions and answered all my questions.

The location just outside the vatican wall was perfect. There were lots of lovely restaurants and shops nearby. The metro was a short walk, which took us all over the city. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The best aspect of our stay was our host Nicolò. He was so friendly and helpful from start to finish. He gave us great recommendations for food, drinks, and activities. You can tell He is really passionate about his job. I would recommend Rhome Hosting 100%

We were traveling as a family and our son had to sleep on a sleeper couch. He is 18 and reports the bed was comfortable, and it was queen size, so he was happy. Given we were visiting the city and spent little time in the room, this complaint is very minor and we would stay in that room again.
We arrived early in the day and Nicolo, the host, met us and helped us to secure our luggage so we could start our holiday. At check-in, we found our luggage already in the room and the room ready, which was awesome because we were exhausted. Throughout our stay, the room was clean and the staff was very responsive. Even when I had a problem understanding how to get the coffeemaker to work, I was taught, in person, and plenty of coffee was provided. The view was of the Vatican and the location was easy access to great food, transportation and most of the sites we wanted to visit. We loved the court yard too.

The location is absolutely amazing in Rome! Nicolo the host is so helpful and friendly! We arrived early and could leave our luggage already in the apartment, as well as till the evening on our last day. We had a great stay and will come back as soon as possible.

It is a really nice accomodation next to the Vatican! It's clean, the bed is really comfy and there are a lot of nice places for food and drinks nearby! The host Nicolo was really great! We arrived late in the evening because our flight was delayed but he made it possible for us to check in later. We were really thankful for that. He also shared all kind of nice tips for restaurants and places to check. And you can contact Nicole easily via WhatsApp! We would really recommend Rhome Hosting!

The guest rooms are very large and clean, and they are cleaned every day. Transportation is very convenient, and next to them is the Vatican City .

The room wall above eye level was a bit dusty. Might need some focused cleaning from time to time.
The central location and ease in going around Rome with the transport options near the accommodation. Nicolo waited for us when we checked-in which was convenient. The Gelateria below was a big bonus.

The room could use a couple of nightstands next to the bed, otherwise everything was clean and in order.
Excellent location right next to the Vatican; the host, Niccolo, was very friendly and helpful and gave us some great suggestions for restaurants. Overall we had a great time.
