We had the pleasure of staying at Ricaroka Hotel on the night of October 26, 2023, during our visit to Albenga. Our group of 5 booked two triple rooms for the night, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, Antonio, the gracious host, welcomed us with warmth and hospitality. He treated us to some fantastic local beer, amazing move. The hotel's central location in the heart of Albenga. The rooms were very clean, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a balcony, adding a touch of charm to our accommodations. Parking was available, though not extensive, it was sufficient for our needs. The ground floor restaurant, offering authentic Italian cuisine, so disappointed we didn't have the time to eat . Despite not booking a room with breakfast, Antonio generously served us an extensive and delicious morning spreads. The variety of choices exceeded our expectations, and we appreciated the personal touch. Antonio's genuine hospitality left a lasting impression on us, and we look forward to returning one day. Ricaroka Hotel is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience of warmth, great service, and a true taste of Albenga.

There was really nothing not to like!

Exceptional from the welcome to departure! The owner and staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable - from welcome drink, bicycle storage, delicious dinner, convenient garage to the unforgettable breakfast that made us fly up the mountain roads in the surroundings. Whoever is looking for a stay in Albenga - look no further! We can really recommend this place!

Honestly I didn't like leaving.

This was by far the best place we stayed in Italy. I cannot overestimate how great the staff was. The breakfast started with beautiful pastries and coffee and continued with cheeses, meats, and eggs all made to order. It kept you full until dinner. We went to their restaurant for dinner and again we were treated like royalty. The portions were huge and the food great. It felt like half of the city was in line to eat and this was a Tuesday! The rooms were spotless and the location less than 90 minutes from Monte Carlo and Nice should you want a day trip. This seaside town is a perfect stop to get away from the large crowds at the big cities like Venice or Rome for a few days. It is a 5 minute walk from the train station, 10 from the beach, and 5 from the old town. Thanks again for the wonderful few days.

The whole staff works as a family and you can feel, that it is a pleasure for them to welcome you and they make you a part of the family. The room was perfect, everything new, very comfortable, clean and stylish. You have a great balcony to relax with a bootle of vine. The breakfast with Italian pastry, cheese and ham, focaccias, etc was perfect. You should not search for the restaurants in the town - you have the best one downstairs - it is called Ricaroka and people of Albenga are coming to visit it every day, all the tables are always reserved. We are here 3 times, very delicious, simply great. Besides you are in a great place in the town - 4 minutes to the station, 3 minutes to the old town of beautiful Albenga, 10 minutes to the beach (all walking). Our children visited many hotels, my wife and I much more (over 300), but this sincere hospitality and love to the guests make Ricaroka the best one, we’ve ever visited. We spent there only 5 nights, it’s the shame, that the vacation lasts only two weeks and we wanted to visit one more place. This is a beautiful hotel recently renovated and very modern with a large room and balcony. It was very clean and the bed was large and comfortable. It is in a very good location close to the old town. We had a full sit down breakfast and you can tell the owner is making it with love for the customers. Thank you Antonio.

Wonderful experience! Antonio is an amazing host and took care of us from beginning to the end. It’s perhaps the most personalized and welcoming hotel experience I have ever had. Beautiful, clean rooms and a very friendly staff. Breakfast made to your request, no buffet here. We had lovely caffè, croissants, and I can really recommend scrambled eggs with a side of focaccia. We only stayed one night but will come back for both the restaurant and the hotel. Absolutely recommend!!

Great place! The room was very clean and modern. Food in the restaurant the best we ate in Italy, delicious pizza. The owner very nice and helpful. We recommend wholeheartedly. We will definitely visit this place again.
