It was such a great stay! The room is very clean, good size, every item is new. Bed was comfortable, though a bit tall to crawl onto. We enjoyed snack and some beverages offered by residence. The room was sound proof as well. Great location, close to Vatican and St Peter’s Basilica. By foot, distance to Pantheon is around 20 mins at max.

The owner and the personal are very polite and helpful. The room was very clean and quiet. The location of the apartment is really good. A lot of restaurants and shops are near and the metro station is a few minutes walk. A very nice stay with great service , like coffee,snacks which were included in the price.

Not the fault of the host but it’s situated on the 5th floor in an old building with a traditional lift which you had to manually close two doors and during our stay, other guests did not close the lift doors properly 3 times (hence the lift could not operate properly) so we had to walk up and down all those stairs. YouTube and Netflix services on the tv did not work either while we were there. Bed is a bit wobbly especially when you’re sharing it.

Access and location excellent. The communication and cleanliness is brilliant. We enjoyed our stay all facilities were as described. The lift works well but be very gentle with all doors and close them as instructed within the lift. There are many restaurants close by. The outlook from our room onto the square was relaxing.

This location! Close to the Vatican and some of our fav restaurants. We were in Room 1. So big and roomy. Very comfortable. Room was kept very clean. 5th floor, you get there with a classic elevator. Airco in the room. Snacks provided and a lovely host!

Property was very well kept and the staff were lovely and willing to help with everything. The location is great, it’s right next to the Vatican and has so many great places to eat, have a coffee and shop if you need.

The air conditioner does not work in heating mode. During the off-season, when the central heating is turned off (the apartments have it), it can be cool at night. In our case, the central heating was turned on and we were comfortable

Amazing location. Nearby there is a metro station and bus stops, restaurants, shops. The airport bus stops an 8-minute walk from the apartments. Very beautiful view from the window. Perfect cleanliness.

Total airbnb type of accommodation - people who actually live in the house don’t look very happy you are there, online check in requires upload of your documents and photos to some 3rd party site and it is very noisy in between the rooms as it is one flat. You can hear your neighbors even if they just talk or watch tv.

The room was very clean, spacious and well-equipped. Also the host was very kind and he was always answering immediately on everything we needed! Location is convenient to get around the town by foot but also metro and bus stations are close and can be a transportation option.

My only issue with the hotel, despite it being a great facility was the fact that you don’t get a key. There is a code for getting the key to the main entrance of the building and a code for entering the main door of the hotel. It’s basically an apartment remodeled as a hotel. Then you use the code of the main door for entering your room as well. All is fine and well so far, as the codes are unique for each room. However, there is no way to lock the door from the inside once you are in the room. There is a keyhole in the door but no key and no twist lock. I requested the key but I was told this is not their policy to give keys and they couldn’t find it but not to worry because the codes for each room are unique. Obviously I didn’t go trying other room doors to check that this is true. Also, I wouldn’t have minded it as much if there was anyone there from the staff to oversee everything is ok, but we only saw the receptionist once, the day after our check in. Not even on our check out. Perhaps it’s standard policy, but we would have felt much much safer if we just had a key.

The location is perfect. It is right next to Saint Peters square, there is a subway station a few blocks away, at the square in front of the hotel there are bus stations and the view of the plaza from our room was stunning. It is very clean and housekeeping is daily. The free snacks and water are replaced if you use them and our hostess Azzura was very quick to respond and very polite.

The only thing is the other rooms are very close and you can hear everything but other than that everything was amazing.

Everything was amazing. It is great location , close to metro and close to everything. It was nice and clean, and Marco is amazing host. He waited for us to arrive and showed and explained us everything. :)

This very small hotel was just a pleasant surprise amidst the hustle bustle of the Vatican. Perfect location for metro (just around 150mtrs away), restaurants, retail shops, cafetterias, bus stop (infront of building) and the majestic St Peters Square (at just 100mtrs away). Room was impeccably clean, very large indeed, amenities were fully functional with espresso machine, kettle, some drinks and snacks available by the hosts. Azzura welcomed us warmly and was available to our questions even by phone. We surely recommend and hopefully this will be a 'see you next time'!

The electric kettle in the room wasn't very clean. We had an unpleasant incident in our room when the door handle to the bathroom was loose and kept falling out on one side. We didn't pay much attention to it first, but the following day the door got jammed because of it and we couldn't enter the bathroom. After an hour or two, we managed to open it ourselves using some tools in the shared kitchen area. The owner arranged a proper fix so that it wouldn't happen again but only after the Christmas holidays were over. The whole incident didn't leave a good impression on us.

The location was perfect, literally a 4 minute walk to the main square in Vatican. Other major sights were also within walking distance and if you're lazy, just take the metro (closest station was like 10 minutes away). The room was clean and very well equipped (smart TV with YouTube is always a big plus). We appreciated the complimentary snacks (which were being restocked every day) and the wide selection of toiletries. The shared kitchen area was also very nice if you wanted to sit down & eat some takeaway food.

The drains in the bathroom constantly smelled terrible causing the whole room to smell like drainage. Told the staff on the first day, was just told that its a problem in Rome when it rains… didn’t really fix anything. So we spent our stay in a smelly room. Apart from that there was a note written in the room that linnen is changed every 3 days but they weren’t changed. The lift is very old and lacks a number of safety features.

Very well located, great finishes and design, very generous free minibar. Exactly as the picture.

As soon as we arrived Marco was very kind and very friendly. When we entered the apartment everything was very clean and the smell was delicious. The room is beautiful, spacious and housekeeping was done every morning. The room includes amenities in the bathroom and snacks and drinks (including coffee and tea), that are replenished every day, which is a super nice detail that we appreciated a lot!! We are more than happy to have stayed at Risorgimento and would definitely come back! Thank you! 🙂🙏🏻 P.S: The comfort of the bed was heavenly!
