Amazing views but difficult location

We only stayed for one night and it was great. The location of this hotel with incredible views is what stands out. I wish we had more time to explore. A little difficult to find using Google maps but we got there! The breakfast was fantastic. We had a family room, queen bed plus two singles in adjoining room. One bath. We would stay again.

The major downside was actually having to leave, the only thing which may be a slight negative was the shower tap is easily knocked when turning around so you either get scolding hot water or freezing cold but its just a case of avoiding knocking the tap.

I thought it would be a nice cheap hotel when I booked but it exceeded all expectations, the view was amazing, the meals were excellent and the staff even made sure we could have an early breakfast with coffee when we started so early in the morning breakfast hadn't officially started.

the rooms are small, furniture a bit old, but everything is clean. for breakfast, you have to be very early to be able to find something to eat

the view is dreamy, the staff very kind, it is a little secluded from Lake Como, but it makes up for it with the view you get.

Very hard to reach the destination. (Dont follow google maps). Use the sings that are on the roads (there should me more).

The hotel is actually like a chalet, with small rooms and bathrooms, but the location is trully amazing. The restaurant is also a choice to consider!

Just a detail but that can make a difference in the confort, it was the pillows, too flat.

It wasn't hard to find the place, was quite simple. The place is beautiful, I had dinner there one night, chose the prochini risotto and was delicious and the staff is great.

The location of the hotel is incorrect on the website. We put the location on google maps and it took us on very narrow streets. It was very hard to reach.

The property is very very nice. It is very clean and the staff is very kind. I would not rate it just 2 stars. It’s great value for the money. The rooms are very beautiful and smell amazing. The breakfast is good, not so many options, but enough for a quick breakfast.

- The access to the hotel is made through a small side road going down the mountain. It could be better. - The restaurant is really overpriced. The food was good, but still more expensive than same type restaurants in Varenna or Bellagio. And they charged us the coperto (cover charge), which I think it's ridiculous since we are guests at the hotel.

- The scenery. The views of the surrounding mountains are astonishing - The room are nice. Ours was on the top floor, so we didn't have a balcony has described, but it still was a nice room - The staff is really nice and helpful - It is very clean - The breakfast was amazing. Great variety of (great) food, and they make real coffee/cappucino/hot chocolate, not the usual machine or instant coffee We will definitely be coming back

Very poor sound insulation in the room so you can hear all the noise from restaurant downstairs, pillows are not comfortable, a bit difficult to find the hotel, poor breakfast

We could not get sleep very well because there was some event in hotel in evening and that caused much noise.

Breathtaking views and the food in restaurant is excellent. Personal are kindly. Rooms are very clean.

This can be a bit tricky to find. Goole Maps is wrong (no surprise) so when it runs out of directions, turn left through a seeming hilltop carpark and follow the road a couple of hundred meters down into the valley, it is well sign-posted just after where Google gives up!

Beautiful chalet-style hotel and restaurant in a spectacular valley with spectacular views up into the mountains about Lake Como. Run by caring staff with an emphasis on quality.
