Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandBreathtaking view from the balcony and the resuatrant, spotlessly clean. The hosts are awesome, as was the dinner. Don't look for anything around, the hotel's restaurant is the best option. We stayed for a stopover, but will gladly return to discover the surroundings and stay at the same place.

United KingdomWe would have liked to see in the restaurant: chef’s special of the day. The menu includes mostly seafood, fish and a bit of meat but it is limited.
Liked everything about the hotel& restaurant: location, staff, cleanliness, service, the view!!! ,the food. Although you have to be a very good driver to get to the top of the hill where the hotel is located, once you get there it is all worth it.

We had a great stay, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the view from the balcony simply stunning, the staff very friendly and nice! The breakfast was simple but more than enough. We had dinner on the last day, fresh food and kinda big portions! This place is amazing and definitely worth it!

Everything was really good and we enjoyed our stay. The staff really cared for us and they did their best to make our stay comfortable. We felt really welcomed. We absolutely want to come again! Also we really loved the beautiful bathroom and the extraordinary view from the balcony! It’s also perfect when you plan to make trips to Pisa, Portovenere, Florence and Lucca! Everything is close when you travel by car.
