Cleaners and host both tried to enter the property a day before check out while we were still inside and just out of the shower! Poor communication for both check in and check out. Had to pay tourist tax which I was only informed about hours before check in.

Unfortunately threre were the bedbugs in my room.

Just become the arrival I was redirected to another local on Via Candia 111. Small room in great location, very friendly and helpful host, but the bedbugs in the room mess everything up.

We had already arrived at the original address given and then was messaged a different address right before check in (it was wrong and she had to send it again). Listing said nothing about shared space. Room looked nothing like the pictures and was filthy. Listing stated that room was air conditioned and it was not. Room was stifling hot and windows were locked shut. Both door locks did not work properly. They were jammed and also would very hard to lock making it unsafe for two young women as shared space was right outside our door. Only one outlet. Manager would not respond to messages to us needing help to access room due to broken lock and almost had to call the police because we were locked out of our room. Room was so filthy, we had to secure another hotel for the night and did not stay either of the 2 nights that we booked

First of all, I booked their stay on Booking.com and the amount was supposed to be debited on May 3rd but was taken from my account a week prior. Second of all, the address on booking.com was not the one where we stayed at. Third of all, we were supposed to have an internet connection but there was none and when they asked for it , we never received an answer. Fourth of all, after the first use, the toilet stopped working, leaked and did not flush. Fifth, the shower did not drain and there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. Sixth, the TV did not work at all. Seventh, the dresser was broken and the only hanger in it was broken.

the owner texted us shortly before the check-in to tell us they're waiting for us at a different location from the one on the booking (when I inquired as to why, they told us "they're the new management, that the posted room was from the old management"). what we paid for: - a room with a double bed, - a city view, hair dryer, - AC & heating, - a flat screen TV, - WiFi, - a coffee maker — the usual facilities you'd expect from a normal room, all of them listed in the room description on Booking. what we got: even less than the bare minimum. the room's ceiling wasn't even fully painted. the smell was horrendous (no bathroom ventilation), the walls was dirty, the doorstep was literally a hole with cement in it. we had: - no city view (the view is of the inner parking lot and the curtains were literal rags); - no AC/heating; - no coffee maker; - no toilet seat! - just one power socket in the whole room, and it's in the bathroom; - an extra single bed, for some reason (which we did not ask for), and it wasn't even made; - no blanket sheet, just a simple mattress sheet with an unfitted duvet on top of it; - no TV; - no coffee maker; - no WiFi. the staff had the decency to bring us a hairdryer and an extra blanket (because it was /cold/) , but the owner went no-communication shortly after even when we asked for a different room. which goes without mentioning that one evening when we came back we found the door unlocked. we contacted customer service and the owner didn't reply to them either, we're currently awaiting a solution, because this has been a downright scam. this owner should not be allowed on booking. it reflects poorly.

Had a valid booking, got there to be told we didn’t but they could accommodate us at their other property. Traveled to the 2nd only to be told the same. They stayed their 3rd had rooms and they would accompany us there. Went and they tried to kick someone out of their room to put us in! 6 ppl in 1 room with a double bed may I add. Couldn’t do anything as booking.com wanted to resolve, waited nearly 2 hours for a response. The property then told booking.com we can go back to the 1st property as it was an error. Went back and no one was there! Back on to booking.com and the property aren’t answering now. 5 hours in total trying to get into a hotel we booked! While waiting people who lived in the complex told us it’s a scam.

The room was not well facilitated. Everything was the bare minimum and I guess it would work for a short stay but no wifi was not nice. It was not a hotel. Basically, we got a room in an apartment house so when you get here, make sure that there are means for you to make calls to the "staff".

The location is very good. It takes 10-15min walking to the Vatican city which helps us a lot in getting in the line to the Vatican museum early.
