Limited options at breakfast, steep walk to get to hotel uphill

Minor suggestions: at breakfast (a) the croissants are a little dry, (b) why no prosciutto?

This hotel is an ideal location, right next to the Piazza Bernini!! The hotel's small street has two of the most important streets in Rome on either side (Via Sistina and Via Veneto) - each just a half block away. It is a short walk to the Villa Medici and the Monte dei Trinita Church, the Spanish steps, and the Borghese Gardens and, in the other direction, to the Trevi Fountain and the Quirinale. It is an even shorter walk to one of the most important museums in Rome-at the Palazzo Barberini, as well as to the Museum of Modern Art and the Church and Ossuary of the Cappucins. Breakfast was all-you-can-eat (including American-style fluffy pancakes and fresh berries) and we came away with little need for lunch. The breakfast staff (Nairi and Guisi, to name the two we saw most frequently) were really nice as were the desk staff (Grace, Emanuele, Umberto), who were happy to offer suggestions for things we would enjoy and always recognized us and greeted us, as did the porter. We had a multi-day stay and would have stayed even longer even if we didn't have time constraints. We just didn't want to leave. Even though there are three other hotels in Rome that we have stayed at that we also would be very happy to go back to (each in three different neighborhoods) , we picked a new neighborhood this time and we now have a new favorite hotel. There were so many good restaurants in easy walking distance that it was an embarrassment of riches. We had trouble figuring out which of our new three favorite restaurants in the vicinity we most wanted to go back to on our last night in Rome, The hotel is really gorgeous, with an elegant lobby. The bed and pillows were excellent and our room was super quiet. Moreover, unlike some other Italian hotels we have stayed in, the heat control in our room allowed us a perfect daytime temperature and to be toasty warm at night. Given all these pluses the hotel offers very good value for the money.

No words to describe this hotel! Absolutely amazing.. from the front desk to room service, rooms extremely clean and spacious what is a plus in Roma! They did a surprise for my husband birthday during our breakfast that was the highlight of our trip, and we not even ask for it. Just need to say thank you to them for the experience and kindness! You guys are the Best! Cannot wait to stay with you next time, in Rome or Spain

Nothing it was perfect

I love everything about this hotel. Especially the staff, they were incredible. Made us feel so welcome. The location is amazing close to Trevi and the Spanish steps, the sheets on the bed were so lush, the room was gorgeous, the breakfast was nice too. There’s a fab restaurant end of street called Signorvino- make sure you try it. I actually cannot fault it at all. Umberto and Miriam thank you so much I’m definitely coming back that’s for sure.

We stayed for 5 nights and found the hotel to be wonderful. The staff were all so friendly, the breakfast was excellent, the location perfect and the rooms very comfortable. The quality of the hotel interiors and the design was also lovely. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

There was an unpleasant smell in the toilet. Since it wasn't very strong, it didn't ruin our impression!!! And the warm breakfast options could be more.

We loved everything about this hotel. Everything in the rooms is thought out to the smallest detail for the convenience of guests. Amazing staff with great-great service!! Honestly, I didn't expect that our stay would be this good!! I don't like long reviews, so I'll just highlight the following - Our room and the bathroom very clean!! The room was made everyday! - Room was very quite (we were on 5th floor in Grand Fillipo) - Very Good wifi - Pleasant complimentaries after check-in - Breakfast was good, despite that it was mainly the same. - Great service!! Many thanks to the staff in reception and in the breakfast room, Special "hello" to Nairi:) Our stay in Hotel Room Mate Fillipo was beyond expectations! I'll definitely recommend it to my friends and of course I'll definitely chose one of Room Mate hotel's when travelling to other countries. Regarding Fillipo - I already know where to stay during my next trip to Rome!!!

Clean, quiet, nice hotel with fully equipped, perfect size rooms. Friendly staff, Miriam at the reception is very kind. Bus, metro, good restaurants are nearby. Breakfast selection is also good.
